God bless you! You look like an angel with a halo! I love your head band! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Lots of love, beautiful Susan 🥰🩷
I’m glad you’re taking your healthcare into your own hands. Say what you want for the medical system in the US, but we usually don’t have gaps that long. There are also free clinics in most cities. We have places like Lab Corp and Quest Diagnostics that now offer these types of tests for a reasonable fee without doctor’s orders.
Thank you so much! The clinics are a great idea, I’ve experienced a severe worsening of my nerve pain since doing this finger collection so in hindsight, don’t think this last resort option that we have is that good :/ it is, at least, accurate, but at what cost since my nerve pain is so much worse now
@@GeorginasJourney I’m so sorry girlie. Nerve pain is rough. I’ll take a dislocation all day over the nerve pain. I’m on the max dose of Lyrica and still struggle so I get it. I wish you the best of luck.
This is super useful I didn't even know this was something you could do thank you!
Oh god I had so much trouble doing the Randox blood test after I tested positive for thyroid antibodies but GO didn’t want to investigate further. Am going to do a Medichecks one for Sjogren’s as I’ve been having issues with my saliva glands forever
I hope you do okay with it, this test triggered the nerve pain in my fingers so badly & I still get sharp shooting pains from it now of if put pressure on it!
Hey Georgia, can you please make a video on how to deal with noisy environments when chronically ill? I'm coping very poorly. Thank you, your videos are very helpful.
Hi, I’m pretty sure this one has some info about that ruclips.net/video/GqD_3eiq-PQ/видео.html
& the video I’m editing atm does too which is about everything I keep by my bed, that’ll be up in a few days probably
Maybe along with drinking water and putting your hands in warm water I have found my blood will go to the tips of my fingers much better if i shake my hands vigorously before pricking them.
Thank you so much, Susan! Great idea!
Thanks!
Thank you so much! ☺️
@@GeorginasJourney your welcome, feel better, remember I’m right in your situation with you🤪😖
@@SusanB-gh6wothank you, you’re never alone in all this! 🫶🏽
Happy pricking 🤣
Are you testing for your thyroid levels. Your right do drink at least a glass or full bottle water before each lab test , or ouch 😅😅
I thought I was used to lancets as I do blood glucose but the lancet in the kit is something else!! It was still less difficult than getting blood out of my veins though I had excruciating blood draw at the hospital I screamed and cussed
Poking veins at home is not a best idea.
Grape juice is the best drink right after the blood test
Finger pricks with a lancet are how many diabetic & hypoglycaemic patients test their blood sugar levels every day! I wouldn’t advise doing this finger pricks test very often since it requires a couple of extra drops of blood, but I certainly wouldn’t compare it to poking veins! And grape juice would not be necessary after this as only a few drops of blood are taken, & drinking the water beforehand ensures the blood is dilute & so even less blood is actually taken in actuality 😊
@@GeorginasJourneyyes there fine to do
My tsh 2.75 it has been 3.75 but drs don't tell me
Are you from uk too? They usually don’t until it’s over 5 here! I can see your concern with it though as other countries treat it above 2 to keep in optimal range! Ended up with half of my thyroid removed & the other half has a tumour they won’t even monitor so U.K. is terrible for thyroid problems
@@GeorginasJourney yes UK even though.my father had CFS and.low thyroid and all his sister's I think ldn as brought it down to 2.75 terrible.what they do.is yours in the family' to its highly related to ADHD autism to which I both have
@@Truerealism747 2.75 is better than 3.75 I’m pretty sure. People don’t like it when undiagnosed people talk about it but I am on waiting list for autism and have been for a long time, strong family history of it also, cousins with autism, mum thyroid removed
@@GeorginasJourney ime diagnosed now had to get it myself found a cheaper sychiatrist about 80 my mum grandfather his mother and grandmother surely had it and heds grandfather was diagnosed 1925 scxzoid personality long before Asperger's name.how is your mum.now I lost mine last year to severe ms heds 72.my son now diagnosed autism ADHD totally genetic
@@Truerealism747 ah you have a son! Congrats on that, it’s great you can help him & understand him! So sorry about your mum. My mum is very sick in a care home (age 50 something). She hates all people & refuses to see me or my brother & just sends us occasional abusive texts. My brother & I are both very, very different to her in many ways!
