Never any boring moments hanging out with you guys. Always entertaining.
what I was going to write :)
Not sold on that shredder.
You know a good husband would bag up some of that mulch he's making and take it home to his wife for her garden or flower beds. 😏😉
Well, I guess that Bobcat turned into a very angry beaver with that mulcher attached 🙂
Cole, the corner of the hammer attachment. Where you push the T posts from. If you were to weld a piece of 2x2 tubing only an inch long. It may stop the posts from slipping off. Just a suggestion.
Great video, keep them coming.
yeah had the same thought :D
@@LiLBitsDK I’m usually shy on commenting on things I think folks should do. Especially with Cole and Mr. Brian, but this looked like something they could benefit from. And I know they pushed many posts in this way. Just looked like an easy improvement. Maybe a 3x3 tube would be better than a 2x2?
Edit; Hope all are well and safe.
Howdy Brian, Cole, I hope ya'll are doing well,
If you can read " Stay back 300 feet " your way to close 😂
Stay safe, God Bless and Farm on my Friends, Peace
You are pretty efficient with the fencing project. That mulcher is really good at getting rid of branches. Awesome machine. Take Care and Be safe on the farm. Out
awesome video guys. I sure hope you put the remodel on the shelter on a time lap. That would be amazing to see. Good luck to the both you you. Thank you Mr. B and Cole
Great mulcher, I liked that one, the smaller the chips all the better! Tuning it to the machine it's being used on even looked pretty easy and straight forward to me. Hope to see some progress videos on that shelter, no use in letting a building space go to waste.
I love watching other people lay fence. Because it’s not me.!
Stopped last year on my way from 1 concert to another, I hope that wonderful lady and gentlemen that was there are in good health, wonderful people all of you.
I can see that going through the fence line trees real fast. No more burn piles in the winter. Cleaning out the shelter belts. The list goes on. That could be a valuable addition to your machinery.
that building could be awesome shelter with some TLC and noone doubt you are not afraid of a little work... you work more than most it seems :D
Bored with fencing??? Never! Seriously, I’d go with my grandfather and uncle when they built fences and I loved it!! I’d do all the running getting stuff to them and taking one tool or whatever to the next person. I was the ‘gofor’! I was around 10-12. Perfect little helpful job for me.
Great video. I'll bet that drum mulcher is going to get quite the workout in the near future. The Sonne's are true stewards of the land. Would also like to thank Cole, Brian, Jeff and ALL the cattle and agricultural farmers out there, for working year-round 24/7/365 (rain, shine, snow, heat, cold, sleet, wind) to provide food for our tables. God Bless all of you and be safe out there!
Good fences make good neighbors!
Vice-grips, baby!!! Greatest invention ever, most used tool for things that it was never invented for!!! Merica!
Forbidden tool for aircraft mechanics.
The heifers that don't get bred, I'd be willing to bet that you'll be sending them to the butcher and selling the beef yourself...🤷♀️ Just a guess
Is the old house a potential bonfire video?
Why don't you make a "cup" with a piece of tubing and a flat plate welded on one end and weld it on the back side of the frame of the Bobcat where you push the T posts in the ground. Weld the cup a few inches up above the bottom so it doesn't interfer when using the bucket and other attachments. Then when you push T posts in the ground this will capture the top of the post and you don't have to worry about the post sliding off and you can also move the post with the machine.
I need ya'll to come run a 4 strand run for me... "its only"about 420 feet. then about 83o feet.. need a corner some span posts and an H brace or 3... be simple.. Oh need some space made in the woo(eed)s to put it..
Start high on those. tree trunks and come down. Lot faster mulching a tree than when it lies on the groung
Glad the bikers didn't tear up Storla Station on the way to Sturgis they get a little rowdy sometime. That's a real tearum up machine good video don't let your supper get cold the Intern prepared .
The mulcher works better if you move a little slower
Cost saving repurposing an old building is brilliant. That’s how cattle farmers stay in business. Thanks for the great videos.
"Pa, I got them first 2 posts straight as an arrow, but don't look at that 3rd one"
If you're not busy on the weekend could you bring that new machine by ?
I have five trees that I would like to have turned into mulch.
I'll pay for the fuel and buy you lunch.
Nice machine. However, I really loved to watch that bigger one. That thing was like a tank.😊
That was great!!!!
Always when you work with a machine, I'm amazed at how much thought went into figuring out how each small part should be for the whole to work 🤔
Thats a good way to spread the seed on that Thistle.
Beats a chainsaw. A chainsaw never came with an air conditioner
Cole , you didn’t need to tell us you were excited ! I remember the last time when you loved every minute using the machine and this time is no different , you certainly put it through its paces. Think I’m just envious as it looked like fun and I wanted a shot 😂 . Brilliant video as always 👍
So glad to see grass growing. That mulcher added alot of pasture and feeds the worms. Fun way to clean up the pastures, fence lines and woodlands.Good luck with soaking rain for record grain and beef prices.
Looks like you could use that machine to level the dirt that is all rutted up from the cows walking in muddy areas like in gate crossings of around water tanks. I use a Harley rake to level my rutted areas. Just a thought. (Is that house for rent?)
Cole's sense of the absurd is an asset. Probably rubs off on the cows, too, and makes 'em taste better.
🏆
😂
Made with 100% absurd beef??? 😎
Ellie got a VOICE! XD Man that made me jump. Good dog.
Every video you put out is great! Keep them coming 👍
I appreciate that!
Good video Cole and Brian stay safe
Daniel from central Mississippi
What about your favorite Elvis song 👍👍
Great machine Cole and yes we bought a tee shirt at storla station back in May the people working were very nice to talk to
I would definitely fix that building up for calves. Plus when you don't need it for calves you could store equipment in it.
Ellie is now ready for the circus with her tricks
Love the old house too. Any plans for it? Love your show. I grew-up on a farm, your show takes me home again.
Remind me Cole tell me me to get a hell away from you when you are using that thing lol
You have great supervisors with the cows and babies, making sure you did it right, Your grass looks nice and green, Have a good harvest
Thanks for another great video. It was interesting and enjoyable.
That new machine attachment you got on demo really crews up the trees and branches. Wow. Works really good Cole. Nice attachment to have. Thanks for showing us what it can do.
You both are back at putting up fence. You both are really good at making fence. Looks great when you are done. My compliments at your fence making skills. Great going.
Brian love brooks and Dunn. You song pick is a super one. Yeah. Thanks Brian.
About it I guess. Thanks for everything Sonne’s. Take care and be safe.
Thanks.
The Iowa Farm Boy.
Enjoyed watching the video Cole and Brian 😊
I like your fencing projects. I never find them boring. Thanks for taking the time to show us how it is done.
The new mulcher seems underpowered, it runs out of steam halfway through the log. The other one you demo'd was way more powerful......jus'say'n......
Glad to see you fixing the gates and fencing, seen you guys struggle opening the gates with tons of snow on the ground, love your sense of humor, Great Content!!
Mk 2 barbed wire winder?
Nice building ,,great for cows and calves
Ur Dad ,looks like hes relaxing more ,,putting u in charge
Wow!! Another great machine!! Sure open up that barn…I agree that will make a great shelter!! Way to go Cole!!!
G’job fellas, could see that mulch head becoming addictive 😁y’all take care 🇺🇸💪🏻🇺🇸
Yeah,I am from Massachusetts and I know of Wall Drug in Wall, South Dakota... the home of the Jack'a Lope.
Just came back from SD. You need a sign on (billboard maybe?) the interstate that points the way to Storla Station. It should say, Storla Station ?? miles north. Made famous by Cole Sonne of Sonne Farms You Tube fame. :>). Seriously though there should be a sign that points where to go to get there.
How is the store doing? Making a profit? Hope so.. many little places have closed and it really has effected small towns. Love what u guys are doing there. Keep up the great work.. God bless
Wish you had given us a warning about the damage the sound of the mulcher does to anyone one using ear phones to watch your vlog ....OUCHEY 😢 😂
problem with those drum Mulchers is that they bog down to easy unless you have big hydraulic lines. Buddy that did my property bought another one the next year because it was too lightweight. He had a John Deere ended up with a case.
My grandson Mitchell lives in Oklahoma. For some reason he was with his dad when Mitchell was a few years old. He loved "mulch". It was one of his favourite words. It likely started when his dad took him to pick up some mulch. In fact, he loved it so much that we made a Super 8 movie about "mulch". I am now sending him the "share" for your video. He is now 22 years old now. You see how your fame is spreading far and wide. (We live in Calgary, Alberta.)
I live in Oklahoma if I see him I’ll tell him I
@@conradnelson5283 I don’t live in Oklahoma. So I doubt if I will see him!😀
A few things, first you need a mini excavator to pull the snags out to where you can get to them (what's money?). start at the but/ big ends If possible and use the guard thingy on top of the mulcher to press against trees to help control the fall . And now for more unsolicited advice - to heck with cattle shelter. You have a real Glamping opportunity with the machine shed and maybe a rustic stay at the house in the background? Maybe?😅
Thank for video. Boy Cole that tree grind really works I did not think it could handle some of the bigger trees It also cuts them down good. Keep of grinding those trees an grinding out those great video's
Good project for babies and cows
WALL DRUG?? DO I KNOW WALL DRUG?? Son I was a customer of Wall Drug when breakfast was two eggs and toast for 23 cents. Coffee was 5 cents a cup with FREE refills. (IF you system could handle it) I sat at t he table that had a cowboy on the bench. I even ate under the cottonwood tree in the dining area. Never did take my picture in the photo area out back, MY bad!! Wish I had. AND, I never got a sign saying Wall Drug XXXX miles to take back to Illinois. I was in the air force, at Ellsworth AFB 1963 to 1967. Made a lot of trips through and stopped at, Wall Drug.. DANG, I never even got the free ice water.. What a dummy I am!!
Great video Cole. That tree eater looks like fun to me. I think I could chew up a bunch of vegetation with that. Probably be more exciting than pounding posts!! Thanks again guys.. Especially for the memory jog//
Putting a new baler belt on is ten times better than splicing one
It's the old one with new joiners....?
@@JohnSmith-yv6eq yea
Great job mulching trees Cole
Great video lots of fun I think the other one worked better my opinion. That barn will be great. Have a good day
I hope all your heifers are bred. Then you can use them to make a peanut butter & jelly sandwich.
Great mulcher, I liked that one! Awesome Video!👍
One fine bull you got there😊
2:45 I think I would use that method to raise the ramps every time ! Half way is way easier on the back than all the way.
That does an awesome job looks like it’s way better than the other one you demoed stay safe my friends say hello to Jeff as well
Suddenly I have the urge to go mulch a bunch of dead trees and branches and I live in the city
Seems like it works pretty good!! The building could used for machinery storage during the winter, not very big but you could store small items it it.. Who owns the old house? Is that coming down?
I’m thinking the mulcher would be good therapy device. Thanks for sharing!
Hi there kitty I’m just leaving work and heading home
Cole, I like the idea you have for the old tin shed. It would be great for calves and cattle to get in out of the weather. It would be great to run you a fan in it. If you don't have access to power, put up some solar panels. Love your channel. We use to raise Black Angus ourselves here in AL.
18:20 That was a pretty impressive demonstration on that tree, especially with it being so close to the building.
Cole, your personality/sense of humor makes these videos even better than they would be, even though the content is good!! 👍 Great job!! God bless y'all!
Great job building the fence Cole and Brian
Excellent video! Thank you for sharing your lives as farmers.
How many miles of fencing do you think is on your property?
This would be wonderfully for starting garden area, after using this you can just go in a disc up, or rotitill up‼️💕
Did you see the Mulcher ( How Farm Work ) He got a good one .
Cole on your wire unrolled why don't you put 2 hitch pins the ones that are spring loaded you use them on 3 poit hook ups
that shed could be a great asset for you when you are calving and free up space for you . will make good cover for the calves , love this idea , good stuff Cole
another great video. hope and pray you guys have got some rain. here in northeast kansas we have places that have gotten 15 inches or more. we a in great shape.
that is going to be a game changer for guys with smaller machines
Nice drum mulcher, that thing sure takes care of business. It's awesome that you guys can work together on the farm, my youngest son and I have done that for over 20 years. I appreciate you sharing, have a great day!
Cole, careful, where do you stop?
Doing an excellent job, nicely done
Nice mulching machine, great job.👍❤️🇨🇦
Toys for boys, greetings from a Dutch dairyfarmer
Great video👍🏼 I’d love to run that mulcher for a while! Fun as heck watching those trees gettin chewed up! 😂
Tupelo MS is where Elvis was born.
Next thing you'll be putting corn Cobbs on the station
Would that old grain bin be worth doing anything with next to machine shed you are planning to make a calf shelter out of?
Tupelo is the birth place of Elvis Presley
What if that was Priscilla on the phone ? And Brian hung up on her ! 😮
Can’t spell birth place
