Great vid - only comment is prior to tightening the hex bolts up fully - if possible take the bike carefully down the street to get the handlebars the most comfortable you want - then final screw down 👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks for the feedback. Always appreciate hearing it. I'm a wee bit of a safety nut, so I'd tighten, test ride, adjust, test ride till I got them just where I want them. Have fun and ride a ton.
Did you look to see if you brake/clutch cables are now a bit too tight? Mine were so I had to remove the forks from the fork plate and move the cables to the outside. Looks good!
Thanks for asking this question. This was not a problem with our installation of these bar risers. Glad to hear you were able to solve your issue. We appreciate your comment.
Hi and thanks for asking the question. These SW-Motech handlebar risers increased the height by 40 mm. And no, we didn't need to move the cables. Cheers.
Fair comment on the lack of such detail. We'll update the description in the coming days to include more details like the torque values. All part of thr learning and sharing. Have a good ride. Cheers.
That was pretty easy to do.!!
Thanks for showing...
Glad it was of some help.

Thanks for doing this. Love the detail and which tools to use. Keep it up!
Thanks for the feedback.
THANK YOU. I am installing one for my 40th edition. BIG HELP
Thanks for watching the video and your positive feedback. The 40th edition is a beautiful bike. Enjoy.

How much extra height did you get? 30 or 40mm? Also, did you need to move the cables to the outside of the forks? Much appreciated.

SW-Mototech is also a good quality brand 😀
I would agree. On both this bike and my previous 2009 GS, all the SW-Mototech accessories stood the test and were worth adding to the bikes.
Some info on tightening sequence and torque values would have been useful. This video has limited info and potential
