  • "In this hands-on lab, Snowflake’s Daniel Myers walks through the process of building a data application that leverages the Economy Data Atlas, published by Knoema on Snowflake Marketplace. He demonstrates how to process data with Snowpark, develop a simple ML model, create a Python UDF in Snowflake, and then visualize the data with Streamlit.
To participate in the lab, you’ll need:
-Account Admin role access in Snowflake or a Snowflake trial accoun:t

Hi Daniel, great walkthrough video. However i can't seem to find Economy Data Atlas in the Snowflake Market place. Was it removed?

Hi, thank you so much for your comprehensive video Daniel. How would you do that if you work in an organisation and would like to share your application only with your internal stakeholders? That is, you would like to make your applications private. Thanks in advance!

Can you deploy a 3rd party python lib (which is not available already in Snowflake) in a Native App? If so, how?

Thanks. My question was - in Snowflake Native Apps - very important distinction. @@snowflakedevelopers

Oh I thought I was all going to run on snowflake compute, but no you still need compute outside to run the app

soon you will be able to run it all in Snowflake compute. Make sure and watch the announcements coming out at Summit 2023 in June.
