I'm EXTREMELY new to blender and have a CAD dept sending me OBJ files to use in blender. Is there a specific way to have them export the file/type so that the diamonds remain separate from the ring mounting? Currently, the OBJ file imports the ring and its diamonds as one solid object and trying to separate parts results in all the faces separating which creates a million objects/pieces. I'm having a hard time googling this problem. Thanks for any help!
You forgot to plug Value to subtract and add nodes. Here you got improper RGB IORs for diamond, 1.9, 2.4, 2.9. But when you plug you get 2.373, 2.418, 2.427
