That game definitely looks interesting. I like how all the weapons and enemies are really crazy (they remind me of the wide array of crazy things you see in classic Turok. In another comment section you mentioned playing the 2008 reboot. That game barely even resembles the originals that were Boomer Shooters, while Turok 2008 was “we have Gears of War at home”. You can get Turoks 1-3 on Steam, but the 3rd doesn’t have enough content to justify the asking price. If you’re only going to get one buy 2 since it’s hands down the best in the series). I wish we still had that in more mainstream games. The way you can use the game’s movement to do all kinds of crazy stuff makes me think of Titanfall 2 (I’ve played the campaign on GamePass and WOW it was amazing! Such a shame EA won’t make a new one, and even if we did get one it probably wouldn’t have the same magic since the people who made it what it was left. I love how it builds up the relationships between the player character and the mechanics throughout the game. I’m not going to spoil anything, but I will say it ends in a really cool bitter sweet note. After playing it I can DEFINITELY understand why a lot of other games tried to incorporate advanced movement to varying degrees of success). I hope that your suggestion for people to make maps designed around the crazy movement happens at some point.

Lately I have been playing a lot more "Boomer Shooters" and I was about to buy Turok 1 and 2 but then I took a look at reviews and I got scared about the "Collectathon" style of gameplay these games have. I have heard that the maps are huge and mazy and finding items is the main goal. I might still try it out cause dinos and jungles are cool and if it has a good movement system eploring those big maps might not be too tedious in Turok. In Zortch too maps have a lot of space to them but since you run and slide so fast its a pleasure to speed through.
I recently completed Wrath Aeon of Ruin which has big levels too and a great movement system, but Idk from JarektheGamingDragon review it seemed like maps in Turok 1 and 2 are crazy big, when they will be on sale ill pick em up.
About Titanfall 2, I have played it 7 years ago and sure I liked how the game lets you move fast in a modern type of shooter, but thats about it. I may need to replay it cause I forgot pretty much everything about the campaign
