According to Burke and Louinet, REH read the Edda and other Nordic legends and stories. I will upload what they had to say about REH, Bran Mak Morn and the Picts.
Interesting. Ilmarinen is the famous blacksmith of _Kalevala_ (the finnish epic). In the story he is merely a mortal hero, not a god, but its been speculated this was a choice by Lönrot, who collected and edited the stories of Kalevala into a book form.
I've uploaded Burke and Louinet, will be available in a few minutes. In "Creating an age undreamed of" by REH, they talk about where he got his ideas from as well. Anyway, here's the link: ruclips.net/video/Lnl8LEJJE88/видео.html

No, you’re basically an insecure douche trying to feel better about yourself by repeating dipshit right-wing canards. When someone humiliated you for your rampaging insecurity suddenly you’re just “trolling.” Lol What a bitch.
Well! That opening dialogue about the “Aryan race” was very wince inducing and uncomfortable. A product of it’s time, I suppose - but I’m going to cut it short and check out. On to something more agreeable.

Ilmarinen is a Finnish pagan deity (i'm Finnish). I wonder how Robert E. Howard heard about him
