I found an old recording by a singer from Guinea, West Africa, with a song called Sackodougou and the melodies are the same. I wonder if this beautiful masterpiece is Weedie’s interpretation of that beautiful song and if it belonged to the original artist or is more a folk song from Guinea 🇬🇳
