I bought a Subaru Outback two days ago! Totally broke now, but much relieved to be done with the car drama! Strictly is now offering to help me with a trailer hitch and a trailer (and maybe even a bigger kayak) but I'm not sure I'm ready for more things that break on the road!
@@GirlGoneFishing Well done and congrats! I bought my wife an Outback last summer and we love it. I was cartopping my Old Town AP136 (on my Xterra) my first season and it was not fun. I had some anxiety about trailering and backing down ramps but it took a few weeks of practice and now I love being able to have most of my stuff rigged and ready to go at launch. I think you will be happy to have both options.
Buy you a Toyota or Subaru. In your area seems the Kings Automall always had wide selection everytime i would shop online. I'm closer to Columbus so i go there.
@@GirlGoneFishing Awesome! I bought brand new 2018 Outback premium in early 2018. No issues ran it several trips to many states. It has about 108k miles on it now. I'm 5'10" and can sleep in it easily with all my yak crap in the car. Got a 7 year loan for it and have no regrets. Fishing tips- I couldn't keep the bass off my Yamamoto senko black and blue wacky worm yesterday at East Harbor

I dealt with my car problems last year and when I had enough I bought a new car. I didn't want to buy a different car but now I'm glad I did. Good luck you'll get it figured out!
Sending positive vibes and prayers you seem to rubbing into trouble with that vehicle for a while now. Having your mother out there with bad vision is scary I pray for both that you will get through this and have a working and reliable vehicle and your mother gets home safely. In due not having a reliable vehicle that will transport you to something you love to do is eating you to inside to hang in there take care and I know there is a end to this craziness and your will be in these tournaments consistently!❤❤❤❤❤

As many tournament travelers especially to other states & cities... I and all our foos and pool and fishing folks are only too familiar in getting stuck on the road with a sketchy car/truck or a friend's/partner's sketchy vehicle. Struggle is real... BUT BUT BUT... how the HECK DO YOU LOOK THAT DAMN GOOD, stressed out, broken down with repair costs coming, mom looking for you, not making it to another tournament... BUT YOU LOOK AS SPIFFY or better than THE STATE TROOPERS POSING WITH YOU... Do you have a film and makeup crew with you like those reality TV shows.???? Dayummmmm... must be genetics.

Because mom is 86 and never learned how to do Google Maps or GPS. I'm completely the opposite, I can't get anywhere without my GPS and Google Maps!
