This theme made the Mr.X fight on hardcore S+ feel like and actual struggle to see who is worthy of surviving. Not to mention I had used my last Save right when I got to the sewers, meaning if Mr.X killed me I would have to go all the way back through the sewers and NEST
As exhilarating as this music is on your first playthrough. It is nothing compared to how this feels going for a hardcore S+ run. It doesn't feel like most endings do, having the fate of the world or something on the line. It's just a f**king death match with the Tyrant.
I suppressed the memories of fighting this boss... I literally went to assisted mode... that’s how bad it got for me, but I still loved the fight and the music

@@W.T.F599 he does that probably because he only appears at scripted moments, mr.x can appear from anywhere and it would probably be too unfair for the player, imagine you walking through the station and he finds you and starts punching you non-stop
I actually like of Mr X looks. He’s not as clean as his super tyrant look in RE2 classic but it gives him this half mutated look in that part of his limiter is damaged and the fact that his jaw is blown off freaks me out.
When mr x drops down to confront leon one last time before transforming to super x i like to fight him one last time ubtil super x its just much funner when the timer almost hits 1 minutes from death lol
Does it really? I seem to recall nothing happening when shooting him in the head with it, and a literal anti tank missile being required to properly kill him
@@theshermantanker7043It's been years, but I remember shooting him twice with the lightening hawk and immediately getting the que for Ada to toss the missle launcher.
@@Lichenfish that's incorrect. Adas appearance is on a timer. Doing damage to tyrant speeds up the timer. But it still takes about 2 min even if you hit the damage threshold. To get the timer down you need to stagger him 3 times. And lightning hawk can't physically do that in a couple of rounds. It is super effective - don't get me wrong. But not THAT effective.

No offense, but the Super Tyrant basically looks like a shorter less naked version of the Tyrant from Spencer Mansion in Resident Evil 1, just with claws on the left arm instead of the right arm. As opposed to the more demonic look he had in the original Resident Evil 2.
@@ajhhc Perhaps what made him mutate that much in the original was the the steel that merged with its organic tissue. Also, the trench coat may be a device that helps contain his mutation.

Well this tyrant is more realistic and fits the hitman or assasin look, probably a reason why he doesn't mutate as much as the original.
