You popped up randomly in my feed and I’ve watched a few videos now. I’m fascinated by your homestead life.
I must admit I actually feel sometimes I’m not living at all, truly living… working with the land is something I can never imagine will happen in my life. But I must find gratitude in my own life and your videos have helped reminding me what is good in my life.
Our lives are so completely different. I’m in the U.K., married, 45, no kids, live in an upstairs flat with no outside space.
We live by the coast and have the most beautiful beaches, parks, a fantastic social life with so many friends.
Like I say such very different lives, but I do yearn for an experience of your life. Thank you for sharing your home, life, family with us ❤️

This was such a sweet comment, Sammylicious! Honestly I think a life like yours sounds dreamy too! I've often wondered what a life like yours would be like. Isn't it funny how that works?

Your other videos where you post about church trauma 😂😂. I appreciate it so much. And I’m laughing bc honestly that’s all you can do sometimes. I grew up in the church (Christian - various Protestant denominations). Recently went to a funeral down south and was advised that women can’t wear pants into the sanctuary 😳😩. As a person who was raised in the church I’ve seen my share of conservativeness. But at the end of the day it’s supposed to be about saving souls, welcoming people, loving thy neighbor, forgiving, confessing, having faith in Jesus, etc. I swear…
Anyhow, my mom of all people wears pants. Do you know they really stopped her at the door of the sanctuary to tell her she couldn’t enter. I chuckle wonder if pants will keep me from
Entering the kingdom? That’s the exact kind of dogma that made Jesus take out his whip at the synogague and flip tables. I have so many more stories it’s ridiculous. Having your own community church is extremely hard to do. You’ve got to be persistent and dedicated. I applaud you from not giving up on your faith. I applaud you for recognizing what is real and what is fake. Discernment is truly a gift and sometimes it comes w age. But anyways. Have a blessed day and keep on living life ❤

Beautiful! Love seeing it all come together more and more. Isn’t it wonderful how sometimes one person can see something that the other only gets once the vision comes to life? Two are better than one. So fun to watch your family make this property and house yours. What a blessing!

What a joy this was to watch!!! I am enjoying the progress that you all are making. I am sure that its is a lot of hard work. It has to be so fun to look back on the pictures of the house and land to see all the changes. I know that you are really beginning to see all the fruits of your labor. Its been wonderful for my family to watch also, my children are watching other children at all ages work together to bless one another. These are things that we are working on in our home too. These things aren't talked about or shown in our society, thanks for sharing that for our family to use.
The cabinets are lovely!!! And the shelves are a wonderful addition, your jars are like little floating gems now. All the beautiful colors are so beautiful. I am still not at the point to try canning but that salsa is on my list for sure. I have been trying to double some of our favorite meals or sides and put into the freezer. The last time that we were sick we used all the meals and snacks that I had put away/up. it always feels so good to have those things to reach for.
Again thanks so much for your time!!! You are so very kind to encourage and be so transparent.

Thank you for the video! I also made some chicken stock with the chickens that I raised and butchered. This was my first year. I frose the stock, because I don't know how to can it. It's interesting how you get ready chicken stocks for being ill. And here in Russia we eat a lot of different soup with chicken stock, because it's traditional to have soup for every lunch 🙂
