    So uhh, I came across some issues while rendering this on my video editing software, and since I couldn't really find a way to fix these said issues, I decided to blow past them so I'd have a video to post in the first place. If there's any sudden lag spikes or other weird visual artifacts appearing on the video, it's likely because of that. Sorry for the inconvenience! 🙏
    On another note, this video had a lot of jump cuts since I had to cut this video to a fourth of the length of its original material. How did you like the edit? Feel free to comment below! x)

      No, thank YOU for watching this! I wasn't expecting this series to have as much popularity as it does, so I'm utterly thankful for everyone taking their time watching these really long videos! :>
      I recommend checking out my guide for Assists if you haven't already for stat and skill build preferences, but in case you need extra guidance, feel free to ask in more detail what exactly you'd like to achieve, and I'll definitely send my opinions your way :D In brief though, Billposter's more comfy for 1v1 approach, Ringmaster is a must if you wanna play as a support and both are pretty good for AoE if built correctly! Hope that and the guide will help you with your decision ^^
      It might take a while before I make a 1v1 assist series sadly, since I wanna finish Noben first. Hope the mercenary series will suffice until that time comes cx

    Hey, this is super helpful. Used to play as a kid, thinking of starting again. I took a look at the classes, between a "Blade", "Jester" or "Psykeeper" which one would you say is the easiest to play and equip? Take in mind I know next to nothing about Flyff atm :D

    • @emenalus
      @emenalus  Год назад +1

      Hey there! Glad to hear my gameplay series has been interesting and useful to you ^^
      If I had to choose between those, I'd say that Psykeeper would be the easiest (and cheapest) to build. It's pretty straightforward, pretty much just building INT and crushing your opponents with spells. I don't vouch as much for how enjoyable and strong they are, though! :P
      The other classes are really simple to play once when done correctly too, but they're a little trickier to build. I recommend checking job guides that I've made if you haven't already, I go and explain about how all the jobs work there and also introduced their advanced jobs at the end. So even if you knew nothing, you should be able to make enough out of it to gain an understanding of how they work! If you ask me, I'd go for starters with a Blade, Billposter or Ranger if we're talking strictly about 1v1 :)

    This is such a good series bro. We want to start playing, me and my sister, which classes would you recommend though for the both of us? We're just casual players so we're really not experts when it comes to this kind of thing. It would be nice to have a two classes that complements each other. Would Ranger(me) and Ringmaster(FS her) do? What do you recommend? Thanks bro!

    • @emenalus
      @emenalus  Год назад +1

      Hey there! Glad you've liked the series so far, looking forward to making some more for you! :)
      I think that for duo gameplay, her being a Ringmaster would definitely be a GREAT pick! Getting some good buffs and maybe some heals would really work out, and even if your sister wanted to do something else than just healing, they could learn Moon Beam to take a few enemies by themselves :D
      As for what you should pick though... there isn't really anything else for me to tell you than picking what interests you the most ^^ All classes are valid and strong in their own ways, so everything should work. The better question is, what kind of playstyle are you looking for? Looking to go for 1v1 or perhaps direct yourself towards AoE? Perhaps you like melee or ranged combat more? Do you like casting spells? :)
      I'd say that if Ranger initially tickled your fancy, then you should follow your heart! Rangers can do some really good 1v1 and AoE damage later on and doesn't really have to worry about diverging statbuilds because both skills and auto attacks scale heavily on DEX. And for a beginner, Ranger would definitely be one of the easiest picks you can take because of their simple stat build! Both their skills and regular attacks scale on DEX and if you've checked my Acrobat guide yet, that's really all you're going to need with bows :>
      If and when you're made your mind, be sure to also consult with your sister along the way what buffs she should focus on! You won't be able to max out most buffs in a while, so prioritizing the most important ones will take you a long way. I've gone over all buffs on my assist guide too (although briefly), but once you got the basics of the character covered, you should be able to figure out by yourself what buffs are good choices x)
      This message ended up dragging quite a bit, but I hope this answered all of your questions. Do feel free to shoot me with another one in case you have anything else to ask! ^^

    • @marcus7386
      @marcus7386 Год назад

      @@emenalus Thank you very much for this elaborate explanation. I have another question regarding Assists, as I was researching about it as well while waiting for your reply. Which one would you prefer for faster questing and grinding for Assist, one with Full Int Assist and Moonbeam or 1:1 Str and Dex stat distribution Fist Assist? Is it doable to go Fist Assist route and then switch into a FS Ringmaster when reaching Lvl. 60? Which one do you think is faster?

    • @emenalus
      @emenalus  Год назад +1

      @@marcus7386 Not sure which one would ultimately be faster, but I'd say Moon Beam assist might be a little faster during early levels, and probably safer. That does come with the downside of not really having AoE capability though, which might situationally be better. You CAN change stat points when you reach your 2nd job, so it IS possible to switch entirely from a knuckle Assist to a Ringmaster build-wise, but you CAN'T change skills unless you use your Re-skill you get at level 15. There's also the other case that if we're talking about maxing out Moon Beam, a FS RM might eventually want to focus more of their points on buffs, so you might want to consider a re-skill either way :>
      I should also mention though that if you and your sister are on the same quest, you both actually get credit for kills. So assuming you guys will be playing exclusively together, she doesn't really have to become that good at soloing quests unless she really wants to co-operate damage-wise. Taking all the giant slaying quests into account though, I think it'd be more productive in the long run if she focused on building INT and keeping you both alive with best possible buffs ^^ So moon beam assist, if I had to pick one or the other :)

    • @emenalus
      @emenalus  Год назад

      Nah, as much as I'd like to make the series drag on for an eternity, there's a limit to how engaged people are gonna stay on content like this. I don't think going atleast much past 60 is all that realistic :,)
      On the bright side though, buff pangs are not that important in Flyff Universe so I doubt it's reason enough to extend the series that far x) I'm happy that you were eager for the thought though ^^
      Blades being expensive is no joke though, but that's honestly not just them. BPs and Rangers for example can be a pain to fund, but all depends on what gear you'd go for. Mind you that Guardian Axes and Comet set aren't a must!! There's other options too ^^

    12:32 i have reverse opinion on early lvls lel. imo flyff starting experience is one of the best in any mmorpg when it comes to the vibe cause u actually start as some pleb with wooden sword and u feel like total pleb for 15lvls to then feel like new class pleb (or destroyer of worlds with moon beam assist lol).
    in new mmorpgs they tend to put you into some random chaos + last boss battle that u will of course lose in some way and tons of talking with NPC's instead of actually playing the game and getting used to the grind... i always feel so lost with openings like this cause u would most of the time show u as some uber broken hero but u lost your powers or other stuff like that. its lvl1 but u kinda feel like it should be 50-100 instead, and then when u actually reach the super high lvl u dont even feel that much difference.
    flyff progression to psykeeper or blade feels amazing where u upgrade yourself from village pleb to some newbie mage and then u actually start levitating above the ground and sht... and it actually takes a bit of time to get there as well

    • @emenalus
      @emenalus  7 месяцев назад +1

      This is actually a feeling that's completely unique to Flyff for me! With other MMOs that I've played such as WoW, I've totally always felt the feeling of character progression from doing simple animal hunting quests to taking down greater evils that could threaten to destroy the world. That suspense is amazing! In agreement with you, the case where you're just a "slumbering hero" from the get-go feels kind of dull and already makes you special - I find it more exciting to actually BECOME special through constant training :)
      In Flyff for me, I think this is something that's engrained to me because I never left the game unlike many others have, more or less. After countless runs, I've began to experience Flyff from a gameplay standpoint rather than in the sense of character development, and I've come to the conclusion that I enjoy leveling the most when my character genuinely starts to kick ass :> Especially since Flyff doesn't have much other story tied to it than what you wear. I find this "turning point" to hit around the 30-40 mark, which is where your character starts to tie loose ends that it's struggled with the entire time and actually become "capable". And the second job change at 60 just is a cherry on top ^^

    • @emenalus
      @emenalus  Год назад +1

      I wouldn't say Flyff Universe is actually dying. The game is still doing good and the community is pretty vibrant in the Discord server :) I think the main blows right now is the FWC event server which has split the community, but the servers are going to remerge again in a month, bringing playerbases back together :D
      If it's server shutdown you're afraid of, I don't think you should have anything to worry about. The game imo has performed really well and I haven't seen any signs that they would've struggled to keep their servers up (nor would I expect with their player count). Whatever you consider to be "active" overall though is highly subjective and depends on the server, so I guess I'll leave that for you to find out :) Definitely worth giving it a shot, so go ahead and go have some fun! ^^

    Why no slash keenwheel since you got no hitrate?
    You can keep 5 axes and +1 for each element. With +9 levels of empower weapon you can get level 10 elemental advantage very early on.
    Also, click on the quest to turn off the arrow or close it at settings

    • @emenalus
      @emenalus  Год назад

      I felt like since I'm going to get a decent bit of hitrate from Smite Axe as soon as I hit level 25 (displayed at the end), I don't have a reason to opt in for skills. Early on it was tough but I did manage to get through that ^^
      Skills with low levels (assuming I want to be able to max out the buffs as soon as they become available) also barely do any better damage than being without them, so I decided that I might as well save my points rather than spend on virtually nothing.
      Thanks for the pointer on the quest arrow, I was wondering how to get rid of it! :D Clicking on the objective again sounded so much like it wouldn't do anything xD I do like having the quest arrow atleast rather than not having one at all, although it would be great if you had an option to make it smaller :)
