  • “I don’t think the Conservative Party should be distracted by Reform, which did very badly in these council elections.”
The Conservative Party only does well when it’s fighting in the centre ground of politics and not the hard right, says Conservative peer Ed Vaizey.

Vaizey is the same as all the others grasping at straws, it not difficult . Apart from Andy Street not a single Tory shows a shred of humilty. Nor is there is a scintilla of political nous and empathy for people.
Data analysis skills are completely lacking. These are the worst results for 40 years and Vaizey et all are still saying its not an endorsement for opposition parties.

This lot need to go. Its one thing to talk about right wing theory. Its a different thing when it might impact on you in real terms. Most people dont really want a full on right wing government. Thats why when they go full ham right wing people dont vote for them. Sick battering is not going do them any fabours. Middle class voters may look down on the unemployed. But they have partners and friends with health issues that affect family nembers or friends ability to work. They may also work with people with health issues they may have to pick up the flack for. If people are generally pyhsically or mentally sick that doest change by ignor that. Businesses need people who can do the job. If you have to have adaptions made for you. You may not be doing that. A economy needs healthy workers who can do the job. Perhaps instead of sick bashing. Maybe invest in the NHS. Which this government has promised to do but failed to deliver on. Africa is a poor country there is a limet to how many people it can take without negatively impacting its own people. The same can be said of any other country they try and send people to. I would rather we bailed out failing councils, built new schools where the current one would cost to much to repair. Start reducing NHS wsiting lists and bring back people who have left NHS jobs. You may look at the unemployed and think okay they can fo those jobs. That is only a short term solution. Because you push people into those jobs doesnt mean they will stay. Ta never ending revolving door is dangerous. You are dealing with people not boxes in a warehouse. People with dementia for example loose the ability to process pain and illness. I know of a lady eith end stage cancer that was left untreated or diagnosed. This is because this lady cant speak any more and you need to know hwrwell enough to pick up on changes of behavour to flah up she might be ill. Most care homes are staffed by agency staff. Many of whom may go to that place once and never again. Its dangerous to use care as a way of reducing the unemployment stat. The sick and the elderly deserve more than their health and well being used as box ticking exercise for the jobcenter. This government us houng to lose the Local election results to go more hard right. The volnerable and sick in this country will suffer because of it. Right wing translate as I am okay why are't you? Sort yourself out. Not how can I/we help you ?

The Tories will lose at the election but there are many Tory voters who cannot stomach voting for Starmer. I think you will find a big swing to the Lib Dems even though they get very little press and few really know what they stand for a a result.
