ECHR does no favours for British people, nor does it provide them any additional human rights. It serves only to make deportations of illegal migrants impossible, meaning they instead have to be housed and fed at the taxpayer's cost, which incentivizes even more to come!

As far as I'm concerned that's a dishonest claim. We have domestic laws in Britain that protect human rights, not least the HRA which is essentially the same thing. Leaving the ECHR would unbind the UK from the European court, but it would not remove any rights we don't already have.
