Awesome lesson. Plain, straight, no nonsense.
Hey, you're a good teacher man. Other teachers keep speculating on what they might have been thinking when they wrote it, complementing every other note like it was an ass kissing session, explaining how other guitar players gets it wrong; and making never ending comments and quips about everything unrelated to the lesson.
Then, they laboriously explain the theory on every little thing which gets into detail that no one on the "beginner style" lesson they're giving would ever get.
I mean, if a teacher is going to cater his lesson to someone who started playing the guitar 4 weeks ago, they're not going to have a clue what they mean about 7th notes, 16th notes, playing on the minor third to the major third.
But you, you just get to it without all the baggage we don't need to hear. For that I salute you man!!! Cheers!!
Oh yeah, ...and your camera is at an angle where we can actually see what notes you're playing. That's the worst part about these other teachers. All the never ending explanations and when it's all over, we can't see what notes they're playing because of improper camera angels.
LOL Cheers!!
Exactly

FYI...Randy Bachmann plays all open A form chords with a droning low E string on B D E chords. Rhythm guitar tone is pretty clean on original recording.

John McLennon, great made-up name!
You think it’s made up
Por un momento pensé que era Petter Capussoto
Sweet! But really, really, really need a fuzz pedal for the lead riff. Doesn't sound right if it's not buzzing like a hornets nest.
That's only half the lead? ☝💚
Listen to 0:13 to 0:17 with your eyes closed. It sounds like a sitcom character who’s supposed to be the whitest dude ever lol
Could be you're showing bad technique using little finger on 5 chords...I often reach the 9th with my little finger from the 5 chord or the 6th for old R&R...
That's all!?
Kravitz wrecked this song, as he NEVER played the iconic weepy solo lines that make this song!
DMSProduktions Nothin' like the sound of a Maestro Fuzz pedal lead on the neck pickup ;)
TrendyKiller
EXACTLY! That woody wooliness is so expressive.
Even Jon here didn't use his front pick up!
shhhhh
Kravitz is a Hack!

I don’t think it’s necessary to teach us what power chords are. If someone doesn’t know about power chords are, I’m sure they can find specific lessons about that.
Why you dont show the real chords of the song, listen the song real carefull
