    I have great news! I think the universe did hear me, and thing are looking to the more positive. Unemployment was accepted and I might have a job too! 🎉 Sometimes our darkest days come the light.

    Don’t listen please call unemployment you did nothing wrong unemployment is there for that reason “you’re fired”! It’s temporary you will find a great job

    Not sure I understand-Is your old employer hiring cheaper labor or paying more? Conflicting statements. Were you a certified Activities Director? Maybe they are hiring only certified people now and that's why they will be paying more? Also, I haven't heard in any of your videos WHY you were let go (aka fired). Perhaps there was a situation that warranted your dismissal? Pennsylvania is an at-will state, but most employers don't just terminate without just cause. That makes a lot of work for the employer having to hire someone new, train them, etc. It costs money to on-board and train. It's definitely more cost effective to keep someone and just coach them when there are issues. So one would think that you were terminated for a BIG problem. I have heard of Activity Directors playing inappropriate games with the residents! Can you believe someone would do such a thing?!! Please keep us updated!

      Oh where to begin. I was the one getting paid less, and they didn’t change the hiring requirements, so you could be uncertified at that minimum wage increase. I was weeks away from taking my certification, but never got the chance to compete it. I don’t want to get into details of the firer, but just my aid did something. She was union and is under a different set of rules of firing and able to go right back to work. I was told because I was her supervisor I am held to a higher standard and was terminated. And yes it is not cost effective to do what they are doing. Some of the other managers are having to do my work and their own too. I truly feel bad for everyone there, not just myself. I miss them all.
