We have a couple of other u tubes on how to make the bowls. You might review them. The more you tilt the bowl closer the the machine the skinner the bowl. Once I make the circle at the bottom as big as I want the bottom to be. I then start tilting it at a 45 degree angle and them finally as close to the machine as it will let me with all the bulk. So I get closer to the machine as I get bigger.
It may just be my phone but it was hard to hear on this video. You all may have to use microphones!!! You do such fun stuff, I don't want to miss anything.
The kit contained 15 yards of rope! Unfortunately we do not carry it anymore. However, you can still get it at The Mountain Thread Company - www.themountainthreadcompany.com/shop/p/diy-kit-set-of-three-bowls-kit-coiled-rope-basket-kit
I’ve made many rope bowls. I personally don’t recommend using auto thread cutter. With enough thread ready (including bobbins), you have to cut thread very little (unless you plan to to make one with many different thread colors). They are so easy and fun!
Very good Teacher!!
You were very good. Keep up the good job.

Cosmic Poppies is the pattern. will be back in stock over the weekend. We are expecting a shipment to arrive on Friday

How many mm's is the rope that comes in the kit
The rope used in these kits is 3/16in (~4.8mm)
No problem with volume on mine.
Great thanks for letting us know. We love those bowls.
Happy Sewing Margo

Can we not use our thread cutter on the machine? I notice you cut the threads.

Hi what machine are you using please
it is a Bernina 180 but you can use any machine to make the bowls.
@@MyFavoriteQuiltStore thank you I was worried you had to have a heavy duty one.
One machine said Bernina and another being used had Janome 🤷♀️🤷♀️
