I don't understand why anyone would watch your channel if they don't like you. They must be miserable people because you are an absolute joy to watch. I love how excited you get about showing us your new projects. Your honesty is refreshing and funny. People just astonish me more and more every day. I love your videos and wish you nothing but joy and happiness
I really like your enthusiasm for your bowls!! 😅 AND, I would also like to mention that you are absolutely refreshing. What I see is what I get, and I appreciate it from the bottom of my heart! I kind of wish you were my neighbor so we could hang out and sew bowls! 🤣🙌💯
I can't figure out what's not to like!!! You are talented, funny as a rubber crutch and informative. You are direct, which I personally love, and to me that denotes honestly, which I also love. Thanks for being you, don't get discouraged by the grumpy people, they have to joy and probably no hope. Keep going with what you are doing and guess what? I will keep watching. Take care.
How cute! I have a weird obsession with bowls, you know I'll be trying this! After all the baby stuff i have to make. Oh! Bowls! Baby stuff! Bowls to hold the baby stuff! 💡💡💡💡
The yellow and green ones would be cute placed in a kitchen window with potted plants inside. They would be great for storing threads, tools or even rolled up fat quarters in the sewing room or for washcloths in the guest bathroom. Thanks for sharing your methods. 🎉
Hey Joanna! Cool project! I went to DT yesterday and noticed the rope - you get 25 feet for $1.25. Now I know what to do with it! 🥰 Some people are a blessing when they stay and some people are a blessing when they leave!
You are so much fun to watch! It just made me smile to see and hear you enjoy sewing. I'm just beginning to make rope bowls and this is a great tutorial! thanks!!
I always get a chuckle with your little jokes. Love you ❤ Thanks for the great idea making the bowls. I think I'm going to make a bowl and coasters to match.
Hi Joanna! You did a great job on those bowls! Thank you for taking the time and effort to show how you make them! I've been wanting to try that for a really long time, but got so many other projects going on. I always enjoy watching you! Have a great week my friend ❣️ Blessings to you!🤗
I have been in such a funk about the world's situation, but I just found your channel and you made me laugh . I feel like you could be one of my family members! Thank you for being so normal!
More rope bowls please! I purchased three skeins (?) of a very pretty blue rope at $ Tree recently and have been dying to make one. Thanks for sharing! New subbie.
I think it would be ideal if it were taller , for your serger machine , waste basket! Another one for scraps when cutting , a crochet yarn basket , just a few I can think of , just had 1 cup of coffee ☕️!
Yes, you are fun to watch! How do you get the sides to start coming up? Do you just keep pulling up as you sew more? They are both super cute & the green is so pretty. Thanks for sharing. 🥣
I love those bowls !!! I want to learn to sew and these look like something I can do😃😂 could you tell me, is there a specific type of thread that you use for this ? Thank you 🤗
I wonder if one of those bowls could be used in the microwave to hold a soup bowl. I’ve never used either one of those, so not sure how it would work, or if it would.
@valeriehofmann2615 it is soft diamond braided rope. There were two kinds at the dollar tree and one was plastic. This one is not. It’s like a nylon. It resembles the nylon clothesline.

I love the bowls. How much rope does it take to make one yellow bowl? If people don't like to watch let them go somewhere else. Keep being yourself.
Thank you. It took the whole thing.

Thank you. As for the bowls just keep the bottom in an upward position.
I think I will try this. Have you tried making any square baskets and little lids to go over them love your videos.
I haven’t yet.
My mother-in-law used to do weaving and I have baskets like that so that makes me want to do this with the rope idea
I just love this Gal!!!
Awww thank you so very much. ☺️
I love those bowls
Thank you 😊
That's awesome ❤
Thank you 😊
You are so funny a lot like myself..
I love those bowls !!! I want to learn to sew and these look like something I can do😃😂 could you tell me, is there a specific type of thread that you use for this ? Thank you 🤗
I just use all purpose thread. You can do it!
Was wondering how these where made. Thanks
I wonder if one of those bowls could be used in the microwave to hold a soup bowl. I’ve never used either one of those, so not sure how it would work, or if it would.
You would have to have all 100% cotton EVERYTHING so it doesn’t catch fire.
Keep make rope bowls ❤❤❤
They are so fun!
You could use the smaller one as a lid maybe.
Good thought. I went and tried it but it fell in. lol.
What weight thread did you use?
Just normal thread.
Put your camera over your shoulder.I love your bowls.
I would, but I would bump it😕
Isnt that a plastic type rope? Ive used the cotton but told this kind isnt best
This type is not plastic.
@@JoannasDIYLife whats it made of then? My husband has it and its plastic coated

Use clothes line rope keep going make baskets
Next time!
@JoannasDIYLife use 1/4 inch cotton it's comes 100 ft will make big baskets.
@@bamakids5212 where do you get it and also do you still use all purpose thread?
@@JoannasDIYLife yes to the thread. Walmart ace hardware, dollar general amazon
Loved the rope bowl. Would you show how to make a fabric bowl? Thank you.
I have a video on how to a few vids back on fabric ones. I am going to do a fabric rope bowl soon.
