Great vid, the wood effect works really well
Thank you 🙂
Great tut! Nice to see more Old World videos on YT lately.
Thank you 🙂
Going by image it sure looks like you got base size spot on. another great video.
Thank you 😊
Great video and going to restock on contrast paints so I can give that method you showed for painting wood with a gain texture :)
Thank you Aled 🙂
Beautiful
Thank you 😊
Looks amazing! I am getting more excited about The Old World, and Bretonnia specifically. Still wish my old Vampire Counts were a fully supported army.
Thank you. I think the ‘legacy’ armies will have very good initial lists that will work very well. While they won’t get a new models in this first edition, in many ways some of those factions are so well served via updated AOS sculpts, those armies are probably better covered in some ways than the 9 on the main release. I get you though, it would have been nice to have the full support.
Awesome work (as usual)!!!
Thank you very much 😊
Great work
Thank you 🙂
That come out really nice. I will try the glazing technique for my tabletop world terrain in future.
Thank you 🙂
Looks great man, your army’s coming together well, keep them coming
Thank you 😊
Iknow it’s not Warhammer related but will you be covering the Scot’s for pike and shots?
I’ll be grabbing Wargames Illustrated so I’ll likely do something with the free frame on there. I need to be sensible with the amount of Epic I have now though, so won’t be buying the army boxes right now.
Haha feel your pain with that, hope warlord send you stuff to review but looking forward to any video you do on them, enjoy your painting guides and I find them helpful bud
@JRE7632 They may do, I did request a single frame but not sure if they others in mind, I’m am working on some Bolt Action they kindly sent. I imagine the magazine frames will be landing for subscribers soon, so no doubt we will see some content out there.
Loving the old world stuff I’m currently building a small force of high elves for the start
Thank you, I’m so excited for the game I just can’t resist making it. Hope the High Elf stuff is going well, and it’s not cost you too much second hand if you had to get it that way.
@@MiniatureRealms yeah it’s mostly second hand stuff not been to bad they weren’t my first choice for an army but I do like them a lot it’s been okay on price I’ve tried not to go above 30 for single miniatures only if it’s a bundle I would go to 50
nice work dude
Thank you 😊
Still on the fence about what I want to do for the old world as I wasnt really into wargaming back in its original heyday - but I know really want to paint a Bretonnian knight to competition standard to really go nuts with the freehand. So maybe that will spur me onto a bretonnian army or maybe ill want something completely different I can do at a tabletop ready standard nice and quickly?
Definitely love your Bretonnians and its an achievable but quality army painting project.
Oh well, with the pace GW are going for old world there's no rush to decide!😅
Some of those new sculpts will make excellent subjects for a competition piece, I’d love to see what you decide to do. Army wise you may be correct, probably not the quickest army to do, I think out of the 9 factions they’re focused on, Tomb Kings would be the most straightforward for that.
@@MiniatureRealms Tomb Kings are a great shout, love me some skeles, going to have to see what new and returning kits we get.
My guess is we will get the same level of news we did for the Brets in the Nov reveal for the TK.
How to use the dog? Haha. I'll never look at you the same way again. 😂
All in your mind dear man 😆
Awesome video mate! For the wood, did you say you thinned it to 50% or 15%? Also do you just thin the contrast paints with water or do you use the GW medium?
Thank you. 50% 🙂, and I use water more often than not, but sometimes medium for some applications.
The pouch is called the "sling" :)
That would make a lot of sense 😂, thank you.
well looks good to me tune in as do new
Thank you 🙂
Would you mind flipping through the instructions and noting how you would sub assembly and paint?
In afraid I don’t own the instructions, this was purchased and painted last year before it re-release. It was also painted fully assembled as was shown in the video.
Love the videos and paint jobs, just stumbled upon your channel! Have you seen Highland miniatures for crazy awesome proxy models? Or do you mostly do official games if you do play?
Thank you. Yes I think Highland are great, my Dwarf Army is Highlands, there’s a few videos/tutorials on my channel for them.
Are all 5 crew members required? Or are the crew cosmetic? I can’t find this answer anywhere online.
Basically, on the army list, do you need all 5 crew members to be ok the field? I got a 3D copy and it only has 4 crew members???
It’s 4 crew, it’s the number of wounds in the crew part of the profile.
@@MiniatureRealms ok so the kid must be a decoration. The wording was so confusing to me because there were 5 models
Yeah it’s just all the old kit still provided, but the new rules don’t list number of crew in the same way the old ones did.
¿Cual es el tamaño de las peanas?
I put the Trebuchet on 100x60mm and the crew on 25mm. 🙂
Also I don’t suppose you have a discord server?
Not currently, there are plans for something like that soon though, still working out the details. I asked a few months back in a video and wasn’t sure there was much interest, but my subscriber numbers have nearly doubled since then, so I’m thinking again.
@@MiniatureRealms fair cause I’d definitely like to join when you do just to chat about old world and I’ve been looking at your black powder reviews and looks particularly interesting
A friend and i built two of them out of spures
That’s a great idea!
