I hope this guide helps you all get the best out of AC Video and Mod Settings. Check out the chapters :) Just released NEW FREE mods - ruclips.net/video/xScPcOo9GdE/видео.html
The only thing that isn't true here is the glare not causing any performance and post processing not costing any performance same with motion blur. These settings vary in performance depending on what map, how many cars, traffic or not, and can actually turn into some of the most demanding settings! Other than that, great video :)
That's pretty in depth 👍 However, FXAA has historically been used as an injection point for csp things like extrafx and so on. While in my brief testing at least some of those things now work with fxaa off, I would recommend having it on in AC video settings, and either turning it off, or using a better version of it through CSP\graphics adjustments. Personally, i use CMAA as it doesn't blur very much and still provides great AA at little performance cost
@@ouzaitheronin 100% since that exposure isn't used to modify exposure directly, changing it just breaks some back end calculations. If you need to change base brightness, you have AE related sliders in the pure config PP tab.
ive installed everything as required, got the latest pure 16k and latest csp preview build, i have rain and all that, but my ground doesnt become wet? i have rain drop effects on it and it getsa bit darker, but theres no actrual wetness/puddls forming and i cant see mto figure out for the life of me why its not working......
@@SirSpatsGaming hey, i was trying it out on the Nordschleife and found out what the issue was! The csp settings for some (and including that) track(s) werent installed. Meaning i had to go to: Settings>custom shaders patch: tracks configs. Then in there i had to select the track, right click and click install. U can see to the richt which tracks have and dont have the csp stuff installed. So yeah i didnt bother to test on other tracks before as i tought "if it works on that track for him, then it should work for me" But then i tested and it worked on other tracks.. So after a bit of digging i came across the fact that csp grabs them for you automatically (the csp settings). Though in my case it didnt. Or it used to but now it doesnt anymore i dont know. I remember faintly when opening new tracks for first time u could have a small window pop up first saying its installed csp thingies for the track (like vao) i think its that stuff but manually. Thanks for the reponse tho and great vid!
2)I think some people prefers having only TAA ON without FXAA. I personnaly dont like the bluriness of TAA so i play only with FXAA. That being said , idk why he said that "FXAA is not needed anymore"
Wondering same have a 3060ti downloaded sol didn’t touch a single thing just installed sol and that’s it and in game my gpu was at 98% load and around 76-78 degrees so I turned everything down in graphics wondering if using these graphics settings will destroy my frames and heat up my gpu ??
I'm wondering how well this would work in vr? I have a high end pc and I'm interested in AC mods but I don't want to put the effort in this if these mods don't work well in VR.
Just try it , its free, its taxing in VR but big difference in graphics, just install first content manager and csp, wait with sol or pure, first check how your pc perform .
@@mrfulgore7922Thanks. I have a 4090, I7 12700k and 32 Gb ddr 5 but it's probably a good idea to still start slowly and add one thing at the time . I will probably try it during the holidays when I have more time to play around with it.
@@simracingjunky9679 Dude, with thoose specs you will enjoc AC even more with the csp and sol :) or even better csp and pure, i run it on a 8700k with 2080TI without issues in vr :) only the cpu limit for me is that i sometimes cant run a full ai grid. Have fun with testing , and as a tip use the oculus debug function and set the visual hud on performance , so you can see how much headroom you have. Check also youtuber Boosted Media, he just made a benchmark video called "IS VR FINALLY UNLEASHED?" you're welcome ;)
@@mrfulgore7922 Yeah I am subscribed to boosted media and I do use the debug tool quite a bit. I've been in vr for a while but I just haven't played around with AC and these questions are just me being lazy and wanting a good VR setup guide. Coming from a 3080 the 4090 is incredible. I can play DR2 maxed out in all weather conditions with headroom on most stages, AMS2 maxed in daytime and I can finally enjoy ACC with decent settings. I still can't believe that I paid the full price for my last pc build on a video card but I'm lucky enough to be able to afford it and this is my main hobby (This is just how I justify it to my lady hehe).
@@simracingjunky9679 Ow ok than you know you way around it in vr :) Yeah the prices are crazy, looking for myself for an upgrade but i wanna keep my kidney :D , have fun with testing ;)

hey could you make a video on the best VR settings for performance ? no one seems to have a updated video with the new vr settings.

FXAA is used by CSP, a lot of your options in CSP will be nullified if you have FXXA off in AC settings.
C13CO would be my first ppfilter choice for sure
What % exposure should I keep that at?

Is that different than Sky1.1????
What settings in CSP suck up the most fps. I have found that turning off "extra fx" gives a huge boost.
If only the nsx didn't came with plastic tyres
Exactly what I was looking for during this week. Thank you SirSpats! Very helpful and always providing more fuel to my assetto corsa passion.
Oh boy 2m ago. Lovely video as always!
When I put on post processing it’s makes my game unplayable like 1080p 30fps. With out it I can play up 4k 50fps. Am I doing something wrong ?
for SOL I use natural filter (my slightly modified version) and it looks exactly like GT7
Hi bro, i copy your setup exatcly like video, but the control of speed wings in rain days is broken, how do i fix it?
finally a complete guide on EVERYTHING, thaks a bunch
Thanks SirSpats just what I was looking for! So glad your Back.👍🏻
"Max Settings" when you turn on FXAA in CSP settings?
Very GREAT & GOOD work Sir Spats 👍 Many many many thanks 🙏
Thank you you absolute legend the amount of constant free mods you provide is unbelievable 🎉
For hotlap good settings, not for race. A have 80-90 with 48 cars, with my settings
Of course it depends on your config...

Hi, Have you tried a different track? Try Kunos Imola - my go to. Some modded tracks dont have rain implimented :)

great upload my friend
also check out photorealistic pp filter
Two questions: 1) why not setting MSAA to 8x(experimental)? 2) why is FXAA non needed anymore?
2)I think some people prefers having only TAA ON without FXAA. I personnaly dont like the bluriness of TAA so i play only with FXAA. That being said , idk why he said that "FXAA is not needed anymore"
FXAA in AC Settings allows some effects in CSP to work........not sure why he said to not have it checked. Its wrong really.
i recommend exquisite pure ppf its so good!
I have preview but no rain
How come I only get 30-40 fps when I play on 4K like you. I have a 3060ti would that be why?
