After losing hundreds of pounds, and undergoing reality TV’s most shocking transformation, Mama June is gaining back the weight and the pressure is on to keep it off. In an outrageous weight loss competition, Mama and her arch-nemesis, Jennifer are going pound-for-pound at fit camp. But Mama finds herself stressed out when faced with unexpected pregnancy news which intensifies when her boyfriend Geno gets into trouble with the law. Following her surprising debut on “Dancing with the Stars: Juniors,” Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson embarks on her first teenage romance and a new career in showbiz while Pumpkin, Josh, and the cutest baby in the state of Georgia, Ella, are moving out of June’s house and into their own chaos - embroiled in Josh’s get-rich-quick schemes.

I think so too, shes basically taken over the show, and the show may give her an extra push of motivation to continue doing right by Alana. Not to mention the first hand seat everyone gets about the life with an addict, very informative and raw.
I live in the same city and I feel so bad for her the few times I've seen ppl asking all crazy questions and asking for photos while they're checking out. I applaud her bc she's doing an incredible job

Try a therapist that lives near Alana that she can go to constantly. Why doesn't WE require therapy for Alana for being able to film the show
Izabella de la cruz tradegy makes for great tv, unfortunately. This family NEVER needed a television show. Or at least stopped the original one. No spin offs. I feel for them, truly.

It’s so important to remember that Pumpkin is only 20 years old. She’s had to grow up fast and I commend her for being so responsible and mature. She’s holding the family together and doing a far better job than I could have done at that age.
Right!!! I was a mother of 2 by twenty and pumpkin shows way more maturity then me at 20! And that is the honest truth. I applaud her whole heartedly.
E J the 3 oldest girls grew up so fast Anna had a baby at 17 and lived with her grandmother and then Jessica had collage and everything and pumpkin has to raise her sister and child

Lol i dont watch this show but i do catch clips and this girl done shown more maturity than you would think from the family she comes from. They all do it for the camera and that was just funny about ella tweeting like lighten up. I genuinely adore Pumpkin and her husband as well. They are still so young, yet stepping up in ways some people twice their age wouldn't do. For someone with so much on her plate, Pumpkin is doing an excellent job. It takes a lot of strength to admit you need help and it takes wisdom to realize you need it. I wish the best for them, I truly do. Ive never been a fan of June or the father for that matter. I think they are 2 of the most immature, ignorant, entitled, and selfish humans I've seen.
After watching the original show I never would of guessed it would be pumpkin that would take control. She is doing good.

Pumpkin and Josh have really matured and I think its amazing they stepped up to help Alana. The one thing that ticks me off is how Jennifer treats Pumpkin. Jennifer doesn't have Alanas best interest at heart she just wants to get back at June. Always trying to 1 up her.

The show Friday night was so emotional. I cried watching the family meeting. So impressed with Pumpkin and Josh. I will always have a soft spot for June, I just think she's screwed up. She really is a good soul underneath it all, but it's the drugs. I want to like Jennifer, but she's a mean person, I'm sorry, any fame she has is because of June and all she does is bad mouth her.

There will come a day when June will regret the decision she made ,of choosing a fucking loser over her children. You will hear many excuses for it but the bottom line is clear, she did it because it's what she wanted. Once she had a little fame ,money and dick ,she was no longer interested in her children, it was ALL about her at that point. I say this with confidence because my mother did the same thing, no fame Involved but the second she started fucking an attorney who was much older and had already raised his kids. She split like that !!! I feel so sorry for these girls. As the oldest myself, i had to start playing the role of mom and i was only 17 and it's very overwhelming, not to mention how it fucks you up emotionally. You trust nobody because if your mom can leave you anyone can. I would love to have a talk with June and let her know where this road is leading. I'm sure she wouldn't listen because she knows what she did was the lowest thing a mom could do and she doesnt wanna admit it. What a piece of fucking garbage. Hang In there pumpkin and the other girls. Let your moms piss poor example be your cautionary tale and make sure to do the exact opposite of it. I'm a good mom because I refuse to make my boys ever feel worthless and unloved like my selfish mom did to us. This really pisses me off because it hits close to home. I hope these kids get the help they need and fuck June. When shes old and alone that's exactly where she would be if she were my mom.
