- How to start your winter sowing in large water cooler jugs! I love using these large water cooler bottle for my winter sowing. They are a great little greenhouse for starting your winter sowing. With the bigger size there is so much more space to grow in than the milk jugs!! I have used them again this year to start my winter sowing! ⬇️ LINKS BELOW ⬇️

I would love to see you and your hubby make another trip to that big indoor market you made before Christmas last year. My heart skipped a beat looking at all the wonderful and unique setups and items. ps: I know your hubby is going to think, "Thanks a lot neighbor 😅".
Ha, yes Bradford Greenhouse is one of our local garden centres and MY favorite place to visit! I will definitely be going in for a spring tour soon!
@@denisebalog994 Thanks Neighbour!!! Hahaha
I have a few of those and was thinking of using them for winter sowing, but wasn't sure if anyone have ever tried, so now I know))
Love using the larger jugs! Give them a try. Thanks for watching
Good luck!
Thanks Jenny! Just saw the update video on all your jugs, so exciting to find little sprouts starting in the jugs!
Woohoo! 500 subs! Question if I may; do you drill holes in the bottom in case you overwater them? Great idea for repurpose the jugs. Eric
Edited: Whoops, just caught that at the end, yes you do drill holes.
Ha, Yes Eric Pete and I made them last season, drilled holes in the bottom for drainage! I need to work on getting the Artist on a Harley channel caught up to this one! Thanks for watching!
Great flowers and a great idea for growing. You might want to check out our video on our Monarch project (if you haven't already). The Butterfly Weed would be a great addition! Cheers!
Oh great idea I will check out your video! Thanks for watching!
I have so many of these jugs. My plan is to use them to start my veggies in. Would it be the same as your plants? How do you water? If for some reason there is going to be a cold snap after I start them what should I do with them? They will be out on a deck getting mostly sun.
That is interesting. I wonder if the larger bottles have a different effect than something such as a milk jug or two liter bottle.
They are great! Excited to watch them grow! Thanks for watching
Great Video :) Gonna take some time and check out your channel.
Welcome and Thank you for watching!
