I'm delighted that the arbitration question didn't go through. Arbitration is 100% favorable to business and no one else. It's created to avoid lawsuits, but it's only through lawsuits that the full extent of the truth comes out. It's a more complete and fair process. Latin America has a bad history with international corporations, such as major massacres in the name of the banana and horrific poisoning of people and the environment due to resource extraction. These people deserve their day in court, and arbitration would do away with this. As for international investments, they will come anyway. They still want our oil, gold, silver, lithium, etc.

Noboa spent 62 million dolars for unnecessary referendum, that money should help in public hospitals, schools, ect. so Ecuador lost in this unnecessary referendum.

Yup. Given the huge crime issues this was a major victory. The economic recovery does not rely on those two questions at all. Pretty minor. Looking good.
