That felt like one breezy chit-chat with an old friend on a rainy day over nice coffee! Love the way Anish draws a picture of Hyderabad Sense of nostalgia just like from his Insta reels 😌
Great pick. Please invite genuine folks ( artists/technicians/makers) , either commercial or artsy, old gen or new age but not folks who are neither but pretend one way or the other (read as hyp) or having a false sense of entitlement.
Met Shewta Venkat (editor of gangs of wasseypur), when she came to my college to give a lecture about editing and women in films. Great insights. Hriday hope you discover her work more.
Towards the end when Anish asked what you guys do, I thought one of you might say "book raasthunna" and he'd ask "title enti" and you'd "Naa Saava Nen Sastha Neekenduku" 😂
i have recently started watching these podcasts, initially i thought the time was little high so I skipped, but now I feel like the conversation should never end. This is my daily travel companion now ❤❤❤❤You guys are doing a great job❤
"The lady disagrees with polling officer, refuses to back out and searches her name by herself in the voters list and shows to the officer." I think it's in the last episode of the G.O.D series. Fucking Brilliant scene it is! Goosebumps with a terrfic background score.
Was looking for this comment. Found Anish a bit intimidating, he could have been more humble to put the two guys at ease. No need to throw his weight around, born and brought up in Hyderabad, but not a word of Telugu. Tharun Bhaskar cast him appropriately in Pelli Chupulu.
Question: we have like 50 floor apartments that everyone lives in why don't we have more apartments romance that probably very under explored only movie i can think off is Oohalu Gusagusalade
Anna, for someone who has no idea about how to start their acting career, can you like tell me where auditions happen in Hyderabad and how can one showcase their acting and writing, what should be my first step in this journey, Anna. Your advice will help me explore options in this realm Anna. Thank you.
Slightly disappointed, I was expecting so much more like his association with Sekhar Kammula, and Nagesh Kukunoor, his writing process, his filmmaking style, his past films, his inspiration for filmmaking, his current projects, his future projects etc...very surface-level convo to be honest. Please work on it guys.
As much as I loved this episode, slightly disappointed by the fact that Gods of Dharmapuri got so much little air time and not get an update about season 2.
AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO THINKS THAT HE IS DEFINITELY NOT IN HIS ELEMENT. I was crinhing the whole time. Am I the only one who can see it? Just check on him if he's okay. Watched other videos, the food stuff and all. Constant digressing. Continuous leg movement. Not something he does, tbh. Abey, jab aap log kisi ko bulaate ho toh zara theek se pooch lena ki sahi mein okay hain ya nahi.
I am trying to know about him but you guys are constantly talking on top of him and not letting him finish. Let the guest complete his thoughts. I am listening in the podcast he is trying to talk about the kind of movies he watched at 52:17 in the podcast version why do you want to come up with an abrupt question if “these are all cinema scope?”. The interview until that point has been like constant talk over what he says and not letting him complete. Guys we like the style no rules and no pattern but at least let the guest complete and please do not jump over in the middle of an answer we are not able to get what the guest wanted to share. We listen to your podcast to know about the guest but you are constantly interrupting him from completing his words. Please change this behavior and hope to see good podcasts from you guys
Dude, why do you lead the guest to your likes? Not a criticism and only with positive intent of course. Hanks is lovely and great (I like him and yes Gump , Cast Away (obvious), Philadephia (less obvious) and no question but you could have let him think and speak more on his too. He stated off with DeNiro and then, it is with almost childish enthusiasm (in a good way, dont get me wrong) , "Hanks?" !? Yes he is a multi oscar winner but there are others too😂
And what is that story about Mr Bissau. Drawing a perfect circle, who in the world would need a geometry tool to figure out a perfect circle dude. What kind of a story was that? And you say sorry for digressing to share a shitty WhatsApp university story

Felt Anish was continuously ignoring Santosh 😅

First time watching/listening .. very boring and I feel all 3 of them are trying to prove they are super cool and chill … No, you guys are not
Sai Santosh is annoyingly naive. He always has to talk something that has no significance
