Hi everyone! I'm sorry to say that these inks are already almost *SOLD OUT.* Much faster than I expected!!! Again. The difference this time is that I only filled 2/3rds of the bottles that I bought, and I'll release the rest of them when I return from my family vacation after the first week of August. Since this is a one man operation, I'll have my hands full packing and shipping all of these before I leave in two weeks, but I should be able to manage it.
I am so sad to have missed this! I was one of the first few who looked before the shop was working! I'm so pleased you already sold out. Can't wait until Grass works park is back!

I finally got my bottles!!! I picked up Deception Pass and Elliott Bay. I have to say, I'm a blue ink girly, but Deception Pass has quickly become one of my favorite every day writers. I put it in my new Benu Vodka on the rocks with a F nib and it writes like a B. I'm in love. Thank you so much for making these colors. They really do capture home as a transplant from Skagit county.
Oh, I'm glad that you managed to get one! They sold out yesterday but I added more, and now there's only one left, it looks like. Enjoy the inks! My original inks (well, the Elliott Bay and Deception Pass) are the same way... very different on different papers, although I haven't updated the swatch photos on the site, yet.
@@thewetpen The multiple swatches are super useful. Definitely had a hand in drawing me in. I personally prefer the warmer look of Gas Works Park, and I happen to have MD paper, so that's perfect! It would be nice to have on the older inks too. But I did get Deception Pass and Rainier Blue as well while I was at it. Looking forward to testing Deception Pass on different paper now. Wow! Both of these inks are gorgeous! In my opinion, they are particularly stunning on the Iroful paper and the Tomoe River paper. Iroful paper is one of my top two favorite papers! Thank you so much! Lisa

Again, the packaging is wonderful!!! Been enjoying your japanese series, too! On yu sari paper your green ink looks like what I call a gold green which I love very much! There isn't much blackberry around here where I live, but mulberry is going crazy every year, I just made 16 bottles of jam, and it looks exactly like this blackberry ink
Thank you :-) Blackberry is one of those inks that looks pretty different on different papers... more magenta on some, and very purple/violet on others.... I like having both options in one ink :-) The invasive blackberries are just starting to ripen, here, but I did manage to pick some of the native ones last week!
Also, the 3rd page you showed for colors you working on…to top left and the one just under are absolutely gorgeous. The 5th page, not are gorgeous!! I’m gonna have to get my hands on some yusari paper also!
Thank you! I'm so happy that you like the colors and the ones in development. That left one on the 5th photo is definitely going to be an ink of mine in the future, as long as it stabilizes... a lot of these inks that have chroma-shading end up with ugly reactions that turn them globby after a while. I actually also have a bunch more blue or blueish inks that I really like, but I don't want to add them to my lineup until I add some different colors, too 🙂

Love the new inks, and beautiful video as always. As a Seattleite, I really appreciate how much your videos on these inks showcase and celebrate their namesakes (and finding the positive side of blackberries to highlight isn't the easiest!).

I found your channel because of the ink reviews but stay and watch because of how well you do everything else and I enjoy the tours and info and exploring of other countries and shops. New inks! I’m so excited! Love the colors and shading on these and can’t wait to try them out. I usually use Tomoe River or Midori MD, but I’m definitely going to have to try the Yu-Sari and Iroful papers.
I really like Yu Sari. One of the advantages with it is that it behaves almost exactly like the paper in a Col-o-ring, which is really handy... but of course, it's a much lighter weight paper.
I was so excited to get the back in stock alert for Deception Pass! I used to live right by it, and it captures the colors of the area so perfectly. But man, all of the new colors are simply stunning. Might need to order more!

They also took over my yard at one place I lived - no clue how they seemed to have sprung up out of nowhere. They're delicious but a real pest to remove.
So true... the bushes are a total pain. When I was in college, I had a summer job clearing them away from the water lines that run from up in the mountain reservoirs down to the city... miles and miles of blackberry thorns. And I had a gas-powered weed-eater. Ugh.
I discovered pretty quickly in my research that ink formulas are closely guarded secrets. I'd probably be willing to share them, but the tips that I first learned were shared with me (by a couple of small ink makers) on the condition that I'd keep them to myself and not post them on RUclips. But there are a variety of websites out there (mostly about making iron gall inks, but some others) and lots of books and scientific journal articles that discuss inks. Sorry that I can't be of more help 🙂

Want to buy some good Indian blue and black ink. Have used Sulekha, camlin not recommended. Waiting for the bril to deliver. I'm a fine nib user and a student (limited budget). I've seen from other reviewers that after sulekha fades, it's very similar to blue. Your Sulekha Black ink writing is missing for comparison :( If possible please do make a small video on that.

The Blackberry is very nice. It is the same shading I see from the fruit when it stains my hands. It certainly is worthy of release.
When I have stains from that ink on my hands, it looks like I've been picking blackberries :-)
