I have been playing a different style - two ended and couldn't figure out the one end, top end style of playing. This has been so very helpful. Brilliant and simple teaching. You are a very fine teacher! If you are finding these lessons, don't go anywhere else. Nicolle is incredible.
I really enjoy your videos. I am a novice bodhrán player with a local trad Celtic band here in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, USA. I got started on bodhrán when the band contacted me asking if I would be interested in taking the place of their old player who had recently left the group. Having never laid hands on a bodhrán before I did a crash course of various online instructional videos. I find yours to be particularly helpful and informative. Thank you!
Thank you Nicolle. I've just come accross your videos with my newly acquired bodhan (birthday présent) and really like your teachings all the way from the south of France. Thank you for the tips! I'll be practicing. 👍🙏
I love how slow you start out! Thank you for teaching us so graciously. It's fun to hear how fast you get, it is inspiring! Is that a wild bird that we hear or a pet??
Learning to play my new Bodhran from Paraic McNeela in Dublin, your lessons are invaluable and give me hope that I may master rolls and triplets one day. You are one fantastic teacher and I really appreciate what you do. Thank you. (Frank, England)
Thanks Nicolle, that is a really bouncy groove! Very helpful on learning top end rolls and triplets! I leaned to play Kerry style, but top end seems to me to lend itself to more speed and makes better use of the momentum of the tipper; what do you think? I hope you and yours are keeping well....i love the outside setting. I'm in San Diego, so we're both probably enjoying similar springtime weather, as I recall that you're in Mexico, right? Thanks again for sharing your tips and tricks with us from your deep pool of musical talent. Stay safe!
Here is a video with some of the tippers I use. I used the JazzMo at 9:38. ruclips.net/video/7OR56OeZgok/видео.html You can buy it here: www.tippermaker.de/index.php/en/shop/mogrip-series
Mmmhh I think I just play in my style. I've been really fortunate to have been exposed to many different styles of music, approaches, and technique so it's hard to just fit into one, if that makes sense? Overtime I just developed my own way of listening and interpreting music. I will say this: I love tasty music! I choose THAT style. Then again, it all depends on individual tastes, doesn't it?
I'm just watching these videos drinkin me tea but I still feel like I achieved something when she tells me I did a good job :)
Aww this made me so happy!!

Hi Nicolle. Great working intruction!!!. What about if you made a video about single ended triplets and rolls in reels? Thank you very much
thank you so much for your videos! Very helpful, thanx a lot ! greets Herwig
Hi I love these videos! I just had a question- it’s called a single ended roll because you’re only using one end of the tipper, that’s correct?
Correct! Thanks for watching!
Great video, thank you 👌
Thank you Nicole.All good!
Thanks for these nice ideas!
Great music by the way!
Great tutorial, thanks! Out of curiosity, what tipper are you using in this video?

What kind of style you like when playing the badhron
