Sure happy to see you again, especially while in quarantine (Boston) & trying to use this time to play my Bodhran. Thanks and stay safe.

brilliant video Kieran, crystal clear explanation and easy to see and hear what’s going on. Should be getting my drum from Diarmaid O’Kane next week. Looking forward to the one on double ended rolls. Cheers.

Hey, Thanks Bear 😃 just wondering re: sound (voice) check! Are you having some trouble hearing me speak? it’s certainly something I’ll look at in future 👍🏻

Thanks very much for this. I really enjoyed it! One question though. In the jig "triplet" it seems to me that the sticking is different depending on where in the bar that the extra beat comes? the first quaver one, as you explained is similar to the reel (d-u-d)-u, but the middle one seems to be (u-d-u)-d to me. Have I missed something? the 3rd quaver one is them similar the the first ie (d-u-d)-u?

Paul Keeler hey Paul! Thanks for the comment glad you like it, & yes to clear that up, the sticking’s do differ depending on where it is placed in the bar. What I played in the video is, as follows; Roll at the beginning, (DU)-D-U, Roll in the middle D-(DU)-D, and lastly Roll at the end - D-U-(DU). I should stress, it’s not a triplet in a jig 😃 K
