In this Zambia travel vlog, we explored Kamwala market. A unique and a very busy market where a train track passes right in the center of it. We then went to a private game reserve where we spotted lions and warthogs!

There's a place in Livingstone close to the falls. You can pet and walk with lions and cheetahs. Great experience. Make sure to try if you're still in the country
That sounds awesome! We’ll definitely look into it if we make it there!
Wow ❤I like how detailed you are you guys
Glad you like it! 😊
Hi, you can also visit Chaminuka in Lusaka, its a nice resort with lots of activities
Thanks for the suggestion. We’ll check it out 😊
Hi Shish and Nav, accidentally bumped into your video, subscribed and I'm really enjoying following you guys .
Nav you're very good at videography and commentary. Clarity of speech and impressive research on most of your commentary.
Ben Mulenga from Lusaka, Zambia 🇿🇲
Welcome aboard Ben! Thanks for coming along on this journey!
It is great to see you showing our friend Mr. Kasongo ( warthog). The lions seem big
Mr. Kasongo is always so fun to see!
You did a good job documenting your time in Lusaka. Zambia is such a beautiful country 🥰
It really is! Zikomo 😊
You both have very nice demeanours. Lovely people
thank you! 😊
You're great i love seeing your videos plus youre in our country. This is great 🎉
Thank you so much 😀
Since there is low water at Victoria falls why not go and visit the source of the Zambezi river instead? It’s somewhere near Mwililunga in the north of western region. It involves a bit of a hike and apparently it’s a nice place to visit, not a big tourist trap like Vic Falls. By the way, I’m a British guy who just moved to Lusaka 3 weeks ago.. So this place is as new to me as it is to you :-)
Thanks for this suggestion! How coincidental that you moved here about the same time 😅 Good luck on the Lusaka phase of your life!
Great video you guys.. am sure you've notice that peaceful nature of Lusaka, Zambia 🇿🇲..
Nothing peaceful in lusaka. Boom boom boom boom all day long. A bunch of selfish punk kids
This guy does his research....
Keep up with the good work.hope you.enjoyed your stay in Zambia.
We did! Thank you 😀
Love from Rwanda!❣️❣️
I miss u guys!
We miss you too! ♥️
Your facts are very misleading.
That railway line was built during the British rule and it links zambia and ZIMBABWE.
The TAZARA was the one built NOT FROM LUSAKA to TANZANIA.
The Tazara was build from Kapiri Mposi to TANZANIA and built after zambian independence and built by the Chinese
Thanks for teaching and correcting us!
I was surprised that it was Chinese… I was thinking that the whole rail infrastructure was left behind from the British times..
The tazara line does not reach Lusaka, that one was made long before the tazara though they do connect in kapiri mposhi
Thanks for teaching us!
There's the lower Zambezi national park outside Lusaka, and Sunday Craft Market, East Park Mall even bigger than Manda Mall, China Town, other game ranches on outskirts etc
Thank you for the suggestions!
I'm a Zambian and live in Lusaka 😅
I'm from Zambia🇿🇲🇿🇲🇿🇲🇿🇲🇿🇲🇿🇲
Wellcom to Zambia
Zikomo 😀
Please try the manchow soup from Rhodespark restaurant near your area
I like how the two of you are fearless and exploring the real Lusaka.
That railway line is not part of TAZARA. The TAZARA ends in Kapiri Mposhi. The line you filmed was part of the British colonial railway which goes from the copper mines further north on the Copperbelt Province through Zimbabwe and on to the ports in South Africa. When the British settlers took over Zimbabwe and declared themselves independent from Britain, the route to the south was cut off for Zambia. That is how TAZARA came to be with the help of China in the ‘70s.
Don't give out wrong information kelvin
@@OsamaAbdinasir-k3g
He hasn't lied at all!
If you know your Zambian history this stuff is basic knowledge taught at primary school level in Zambia.
The only extra bit of info he could've added is that the two separate railway systems converge in Kapiri Mposhi.
@@OsamaAbdinasir-k3g
Kelvin is 100% correct

@@TheBackpacksters you're welcome
Ji ha kyu ki jab me yaha aayi thi tab muje malum nahi tha. Manda hill shoe kharidne gayi thi. Waha par mera phone chori ho gaya tha.
Interesting
There are quite a number of activities you can do along Leopards Hill Road, in the outskirts of Lusaka.
Adding it to the list!
Dont think the victoria falls is completely dry. This should also be one of the best times to see and experience the devil's pool
That's good to know! Thanks Ziko 😅
@@TheBackpacksters you're welcome! It's definitely more beautiful in the rainy season, but you can see more areas during the dry season when the water levels are low. Many of those areas are too dangerous during the rainy season and are closed to tourists. Locals call it 'mosi o tunya' which means 'The smoke/steam that thunders' because the water vapor it forms looks like smoke/steam and its thunder-like sounds - made by the water as it plunges down into the the basin - can be heard from as far as 25km during the rainy season, hence the name. This should be a great reference to what it looks like during the dry season ruclips.net/video/0FLUHZ3n_uo/видео.html

Great vlog but it would be nice to do a bit more research cause some of the information is not entirely accurate, but hopefully you had a great time

Y r they only showing the bad side of Lusaka there r somany good parts as well
What bad side? 😅
Does my school in kwazi does my school is my school called pinewood I lose my brother's School his school his name in kwazi
Ignore that idiot who was disturbing you when filming If he touches you he is going straight to jail in Lusaka we appreciate tourists because they support us ignore such idiots there is a police station right a few meters away if you want to report him ever
Thank you for this confidence!
No you dont appreciate tourists. I stayed in 6 hotels in a month expensive hotels......boom boom boom boom all day and all night-even in the mall parking lot boom boom boom boom. I will never go back to lusaka
@@Augfordpdoggie don’t just complain do something useful and mention the hotels names🙄
by the way, even an expensive hotel can be shit, especially if you don’t know how to plan your trip if you come to Zambia with the frequency notion that it’s like other countries you’ve disappointed yourself
@@Augfordpdoggie hmmm interesting. I didn’t know the countries and cities outside Africa don’t have construction sites 🏗️ it’s called a developing country, who are you? You’re not the president for us to stop whatever we are doing in order for you to get some sleep your when poor planning does not constitute an emergency for everyone grow up and learn to plan there are literally local consultants to avoid these types of things and my mother works for emirates. She even gives free advice to tourists who want to avoid inconveniences. You are not special you are just a poor planner. Some of these things would have been avoided through a few Google searches.
You are making a video like that in Zambia don't hold your phone like😮
Yes yes learnt it now!
I’m extremely disappointed why you guys not having enough subscribers. Cause your vlog are awesome😭❤.
Thank you so much! Maybe one day we get to share this journey with more people!

Lusaka is a beautiful city, but it is soooooooooo noisy. You will not get peace and quiet there even at 80 dollar hotels. I stayed in 5 hotels in 1 month-miserable
Hehe, maybe we found it less noisy considering our home city is even more busy and noisy! 😅🙈🥰
That security guard is useless, cameras are not allowed in a public place?
It was strange indeed to hear that!
