I was a bit scared of trying this but having seen you do it, it doesnt look that scary, lol. I was scared I might ruin my pans and stuff but cling film will protect them. I have a good idea of the blocks I want to make so thank you for this. I think a lot of things like your square tupperware could be used to block on its own but the pan and that oval bowl are exactly the sort of shapes I would like. If I actually manage I will tag you.
can you steam the hat once you have it on the block? will the heat from the iron/press cause fumes from the expandable foam? I like the idea because my head is large and I can't find anything that will work but I am anxious about steaming my hat on a block of expandable foam

Were you doing this project on carpeting?! I was like -Oh man! That will be a mess! I have one block in the curing stage.. I hope that it turns out!
I know, I don’t know what I was thinking but luckily I didn’t get any on the carpet. Good luck with yours

I'm not too sure if it causes fumes. I just wet and shape my materials on it.
Could you show us how to make a block for 18" ag doll
Use petroleum jelly on your hands and containers first.
