I’ve been watching Jake since he was in the sailboat and I’ve noticed a lot of people complaining where the channel is going. Living that lifestyle on the road isn’t easy especially in a small rig like jade or the commander. Guy got a break and is showing us once again his filming skills. Jake you have a gift for filming. Hard to show that off renovating a home. Love this series

Me personally think the last couple of videos were well not to be nasty , but they were just stupid , this whole government thing and the way you are talking just dumb. What I mean to say is that compared to 2 years ago he’s fallen off the radar completely. Months go by and I forget he even exists and then he puts out a 2 minute clip that has no relevance to any story line and lacks structure. All of the money people gave him, and probably are still blindly giving him, all the sponsors, trips paid for by sponsors, was for nothing

Can you do a video on finding safe spots to boondock? My wife and I camp in my JKU and can never find open camping spots. We often end up parking in state park parking lots (in Minnesota).

As much as i would like to, i have 2 cj7s rn only 1 driveable and rusting into the ground. Its my daily and thats where most of my $ goes. Gas and fixing crap

yeah its unfortunate.. but this seems to be his MO.. almost finish somethin and then cut out because it didnt go the way he wanted.. example: 50 state road trip.. and look what happened with his "jade build" literally left it at the shop for the other guys to deal with after they so generously gave him a roof over his head and countless hours of their time. hes even gone as far as to delete his instagram and facebook.

If he gets burnt out and wants to stop, he doesn't owe anyone anything. Yea, people "supported" him when he was on the journey, but what about now? Those were free videos. I get that he's doing patreon only because those people are paying and really the only people he owes.
@@directedbydon have you watched his early videos? the videos where everyone meets up and brings food and other donations that they bought to support what hes doing? you dont feel like he owes something to those people? plus you dont think he sold merch off those videos? he definetly made money from people watching those videos, either from ads or his personal merch, and people were constantly donating items and gas cards to him.

I too remember the sailboat. He very much went from filming like this to straight vlogging and it's nice to see him go more back to his routes.
