If you want to help someone you need to be accepting of the situation, open to listening to the person and their thought processes and actually work WITH them throuh the issue. thats one of my biggest problems with hoarders as it is families that volunteer their relatives and go in and throw things away FOR the person, when the hoarding is a symptom of other issues that therapy and love and support could have helped (not necessarily cured but HELPED). but my point is and what i assume the comments above are trying to make is that we do not shame kevin for his kinks and preferences. sure his house was a mess, but there was nothing appropriate about his sisters regarding his stuff with disgust like that. he already expressed discomfort with them going in his room and they disrespected that. mental illness or not EVERYONE deserves to be treated with respect. if they really needed to go into his room, they would have given him time to put things away, or just allowed him enough privacy to keep the cameras away.
