I have been waiting for the gel to come out for a while now. But I finally got my hands on the Nature's Little Secret New Okra Curl Defining Gel and thank you to NLS for sending the over to me! I love pretty much everything NLS, so I just had to try this gel out on my type 4 curls. Not to mention this gel is glycerin free, which my curls love. Definitely check out this video to see my results and hear my thoughts on this gel.

UPDATE: So spoke with Sharnae, the owner, and she confirmed that there is a SMALL amount of GLYCERIN in the gel and that the labels will be updated. My label was incorrect. Still a bomb gel, and my hair shows that because it normally holds no definition with a lot go glycerin. Just wanted to let you all know ❤

That Okra Gel from Nature’s Little Secret is a strong hold. I just used it this recent wash day. It is still going strong on day 2. Has a strong cast, but don’t care. Honestly the best natural gel I’ve ever used. Much better than the Flaxseed Styling Monstrosity. That thing flaked on me like crazy.
Only issue is that you have about 6 months to use this product up after opening it.

I ordered both of these over the weekend. I’m hoping they work out for me. I tried the Bee Girl custard yesterday and was sooo disappointed. All I got was frizz. I get a bomb wash and go by mixing about 2 tablespoons of the Shea Moisture curl gel soufflé, castor oil and some aloe vera gel into a tub of wetline. I use whatever leave in I have on hand and sometimes the curl enhancing smoothie and get very defined, crunch free curls that last at least 5 days.

This is my first summer focusing on doing wash and go's since the heat would destroy my hair otherwise. It's like 100 degrees in TN 😮💨. At this point, I'm like what's a twist out, what's a braid out lol. I definitely want to find a gel that's moisturizing but gives good hold. My method is using a leave in then wetline with the mane choice's braid out glaze on top. It doesn't feel like it's dried out after it's dry but it feels that way while applying. Idk. I just want to try something else so I may have to try this product out.

Hi Nisha beautiful results, I purchased the gel and avocado leave in unfortunately I turned into frizz ball by day 3 I am going to try again with the tres luxe 4 in 1 and see if I have better results. I believe it does have glycerin low in ingredient deck she made mention of a knew label coming . I live in AZ its been 115 some days and a little humid maybe thats why I look extra fluffy, my hair does not like glycerin either.
Thanks you Jackie😘. The avocado moisture cream is super moisturizing and that may be why you had frizz results, plus the weather 😂. Maybe try it with a more lightweight gel. Sharnae did just tell me that it did have glycerin. My table didn't say that unfortunately, but that you for letting me know 😘
I rarely use gel but this one looks pretty good, consistency looks creamy. Does it have a tacky feel? Your hair looks awesome btw
Awww thank you so much beautiful 💕. There is a little tackiness to it but not much. It is mostly a creamy texture which is why I wasn't sure what to think at first lol.

Jello Shot is my baby💯. I haven’t found another gel that could give me a perfect slick back and also leave me with a super soft wash and go, after scrunching out the crunch. It really is a gem🥰🌺.

Hey love ☺️ the hooded dryer I use it a little cheap one from Sally. I think it is from the brand gold n hot. Not sure if they still sell it. Amazon is a great place to find a good hooded dryer.
