Great review! I love this product to the point that I’m ready to give up my other stylers. 😮 I combo with their banana leave in, Carol’s Daughter Mimosa Hair Honey to seal. Then I use the Okra gel and top with Innersense I Create Hold. I get 7-10 days with this combo! For me, this combo is legit! ❤ I absolutely love watching your reviews. I heard the hooded dryer changes things. I have a bonnet dryer and it smooshes my hair and draws up my hair.

Your hair came out pretty! I'm a big Mielle fan. Do you think this styling gel works better than Mielle? I just did my first wash and go, I felt like I had to wet it a little on day 2. Do you ever spray your hair with water to get the curl to be more defined?
I like Mielle products too, but I definitely think the NLS okra gel is better. No I don’t refresh my wash and gos because I feel like it makes my hair more frizzier. I just apply enough product when I initially apply it.
@@KarolinaCurlzWorld Yeah, maybe I didn't put enough gel. Im guilty of not using a lot of product. When I saw you apply the leave-in conditioner in another video, my eyes got big. Lol I don't like my hair feeling weighted down or sticky. I will definitely try this brand and apply a bit more product next time.
@@queenslady97 maybe try a little bit more and see if it helps. Maybe using a lightweight leave-in will allow your hair not to feel weighed down.

I like the way it looks on the first day you get it but I’m not spending $17 and it’s giving soft hold but I know without the leave in, it would give a better hold. On the site it says medium hold but if you out something underneath a styler it softens the hold.
It is pricey but it works really well and you get a lot of product. Yes I agree about leave-ins effecting the outcome of a styler. I’m going to try it on its own next time to see if that affects the amount of days that I get with my wash and go.
