He is fantastic. He is friendly and helps drop people's guard with his good nature while also doing solid research and asking unique questions (plus the hot sauce doesn't hurt)

Here when the video has 3-digit in views. The wife saw the show when he ate wings with Charlize, and then we ordered a lot of hot sauces from the show -- she has been testing then yesterday and today. :) One thing to note with Sean, is that he always comes prepared with questions that doesn't seem forced nor given to him by 'the other side', which is great.

I saw Sean Evans at a grocery store in Los Angeles yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything. He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?”I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying.
The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.
When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

I've been watching Hot Ones since the beginning, pre-100,000, and I find myself less and less interested in watching these days. Sure, they get more famous celebrities, but the channel doesn't have the same sense of community it used to have. Now the channel gets 2000+ comments in the first hour from the typical RUclips middle school subnormals, and any comment you post vanishes instantly.
You can also see the way Complex is milking the show, using it to promote their other properties and even messing with the show's formula by removing Blair's Mega-Death because it was so obviously hotter than their own branded "Last Dab" sauce. It just doesn't feel real any more.
I saw some episodes from the first 2 seasons. At least Sean seems a bit more enthusiastic now vs those first few seasons.
