Usually with the music boxes I got they would get demolished except for the the actual mechanism. Aside from one other box, my pikachu music box has survived for about 15 years now, and I always play it whenever I go to sleep. c: It's such a nice tune, and the only marks it has are a couple of bite marks from an old pet of mine.

@PoisonousCupcake001 i had a Pikachu alarm clock that i only recently realized played the chorus of this song, and i absolutely loved it. i really regret dismantling that thing... it was epic. but i was the same way, i had no idea it was this because i only watched the english version.
I like it. To me, it also solves a question I've been wondering about in the first opening: that girl. She was never in the show at all--she was just in the Japanese opening just to name places where Pokemon could be found, so when it was dubbed for America, why would they keep the scene with Pikachu running beneath her?
Idc what anyone says this original Japanese opening is 100 times superior than the English one it perfectly portrays what that season was meant to be. It's a bad habit of Americans & Britishers to claim others stuff as their own personal property they always tend to forget that Pokemon is a Japanese man's making what they grew up with isn't the original thing this Japanese opening is the origin of everything ♥

EpicNico Rose tinted glasses mate. Making you feel nostalgic doesn't make it better. When I listen to the Swedish version for example I think it got very little quality musically but it still holds a special place in my heart.

Seriously, If they Ever release Pokemon Uncut on DVD.(You know, Use the current voice cast, Undo most of the paint edits 4kids added, Calling the Rice ball rice balls instead of Doughnuts etc.) They should do this opening!(But then again it's a pipe dream, and Unlike One piece or Dragon Ball Z Kai, Pokemon Didn't suffer as bad from 4kids syndrome as much... Rice ball/doughnut related issues notwithstanding.)

Seriously, If they Ever release Pokemon Uncut on DVD.(You know, Use the current voice cast, Undo most of the paint edits 4kids added, Calling the Rice ball rice balls instead of Doughnuts etc.) They should do this opening!(But then again it's a pipe dream, and Unlike One piece or Dragon Ball Z Kai, Pokemon Didn't suffer as bad from 4kids syndrome as much... Rice ball/doughnut related issues notwithstanding.)
+TheArceusftw Digimon's getting an uncut release because of all the interest shown through Netflix views, the same could DEFINITELY happen for Pokemon. And oh lord, how fast those DVDs would sell out too!
Ugh I can't stand the current voices. The cuts are incredibly minor issues. What I don't like is that they messed and still mess with the music.
