When you pause a song! And restart you should go back 10 seconds, so NOTHING IS MISSED 😖🙃
Well said! 👏🏻 i hate when do not rewind it
Reactors always get distracted by this video and forget the classic song
Yeah true. They are focused on the video and not enjoying the fukin amazing music going on.
And although the video is beautiful in its own right, it doesn't fit the PACING of the song and kinda throws it off, IMO.
@@dialecticalmonist3405 it doesn't fit the song at all
True, especially the last verse
Lyrics written by the bassist, geezer butler. He also named the band after a horror movie and was fascinated by the occult. This song came out in 1969 or 1970. It is about the Vietnam War that was prevalent in the US at thay time. Black Sabbath are considered by many to be first heavy metal band.
1970, but possibly written in 1969, I don't know
@@AssMonkeyGaming It was originally called War Purges, which was written in 1969. But when they changed it to War Pigs, that was done in 1970.
Black Sabbath is considered by many to be the first true heavy metal band
I'd have to say led zeppelin in my opinion
@@poorboytrucking1 led zeppelin arent metal
@@anestisP-wb9mj everyone has their own opinion. Especially the younger ones these days 👍
@@poorboytrucking1 i agree
I gotta go with the Unholy Trinity.
hey Girls,
You should have watched the Live version from Paris, 1970, that was a legendary performence, especially drummingwise
I went to Hellfest 4 years ago especially to see them at their farewell tour and they absolutely killed the show, that was faaar better than what I was expecting \m/
Take care =)
YES. UNBELIEVABLE PERFORMANCE.
Bill Ward was possessed that night, Birmingham rocks
It's not the official video, its a fan-made thing. And It doesnt have nothing to do with the lyrics of the song. Anyways great reaction beautiful!
It does actually
That's Ozzy for you. Strong singing
I just wanted to tell them who he was.
I didn’t want someone to tell them that in the comments.
@@shspurs1342 Then how would they find out?
Loved you're reaction, I'm glad you enjoyed reacting to the song! As others have suggested, check out the live Paris performance from 1970, Bill Ward (drummer) goes off!!
It's not the official video, it's a fan made crap, that has nothing to do with the song. Back in 1970 there were no video-clips.
Or real drums
I hate that the reaction people always find this video. It has nothing to do with the song.
It’s actually a video game intro.
@@MrRaiders3581 The person who requested it might have sent them the link to this video. Because some people actually like it.
@@MrRaiders3581 I think they just click on it because it has so many views
I don’t no her name, but she is one hundred percent correct. When she said it looks like a video game introduction. Because that is what it is. I remember it on a tv advert. There is no official video for this song. Because it was an album track.
You should do the live version War pigs live in Paris 1970
That stupid fan-made video is the single worst thing to happen in the entire history of reaction videos.
It's a bummer you feel that way. I think it's pretty good.
1000% agree
@@AGDinCA The video seems to distract the people reacting and they dont pay attention to the song, but rather to whats going on in the video instead.
It's a beautiful video, but it doesn't FIT the pacing of the song.
They need a music video for this song that FITS the pacing, because everybody expects good songs to have videos these days.
Maybe we can convince reactors to do both, the vids and the lyrics. Get both sides ( even if one side is not even an official vid).
Watch the 'Live in Paris' video...then you'll REALLY see how Black Sabbath rolled!
Singer in the band is Ozzy Osbourne. Alot of the music back then focused around the Vietnam War and World War II.
Keep in mind the video was made about 40 years after the song.
I think it is a beautiful video, but in my opinion, it doesn't fit the pacing of the song.
Sabbath live in Paris 1971. That's the video to watch.
1970
@@arthurbishop3173 ... and in Brussels (video location is wrong)
The voice of course is Ozzy. Toni Iommi on guitar a lefty at that. Geezer Butler on bass, and of course the awesome Bill Ward on drums. My favorite Sabbath tune.
The greatest band of all time. Black Sabbath! Thank you
The live video from 1971 is also epic. Love this fan video though.
Jinjer's Sit Stay Roll Over live from Melbourne is great too. Cheers!
The video actually was attached to this song many, many years after the song was recorded.
Bella was just saying, "Heck yeah, that's my Jam, TURN IT UP!!
The song was created in the seventies, and the vocalist is ozzy osbourne. The animation is something done after the fact by someone not affiliated with the band.
1970 live........... in Paris , nice reacting ladies ! . this video represented someone’s own personal interpretation...
Yeah, they didnt have videos like this back in the day. Lol, im feeling old
Sabbath are GODS!!! They literally wrote EVERY riff ever written! Legends!
They is basically only two kind of metal bands. One is Black Sabbath, and the second is ever other Metal who play Tony Iommi’s Riffs.
Wow you guys nailed it. So relevant today as in the early 70’s when it came out 🙌
LOL....got a laugh out of the dog. Thanks for the reaction.
14:13 two types of trip when pot hit right xD
The video ist CGI, not animation. It ist quite well made being a much later fan-based video.
It isn't exactly the message originally intended, but it ist still close enough interpretation
compared to the later MTV interview with Black Sabbath about the origin of this song.
Have a fun day...Auf Wiedersehen :-)
Fun fact: Black Sabbath basically invented metal. Yep, four lads from Birmingham invented a brand new genre of music 50 years ago and still play to this day. Especially since I'm pretty sure from all the drugs he's done, Ozzy doesn't age.
React to black sabbath - sabbath bloody sabbath please
My favourite Sabbath tune. I was at their last concert ever in Birmingham, was gutted they never played it, just as an intro
CLASSIC!
girls, this song came out in 1970, 50 years ago, no videos then. you did get the message of the song correct. don't get off on the video so much, listen to the brilliance of the timeless music.
Videos came out in 1981... this was 1970s
She's cool just jamming off your vibes witch is awesome.
Outstanding analysis...
Well at least you heard it...Listen to their entire discography (pre dio) 10 times in a row, then you can understand Sabbath...
The music video reminds me the movie THX-1138, which was the first commercial film directed by George Lucas.
The film is about a Dystopian world where people are little more than machines, and exist solely to serve their society.
To me, it seems that the video sort of follows a similar theme.
The song was released during the Vietnam war
This song didn't have an original video. This song was made during vietnam. Long before MTV
Beautiful ladies and classic metal. I’d say that’s a win for today
Good reaction girls! This isn't the official video, but maken by fan. Take care and rock ON
Awesome song awesome reaction as always
The video is from a movie called Motherland I think.. The live version in Paris shows the incredible energy of the band.
My Beautiful Two Sisters,
War Pigs is an anti-war song that was released on Black Sabbath's 2nd album "Paranoid" in 1970. It is the 1st track on the A side of the album. Their 1st Self Titled album was released earlier in the same year. This was a fan produced video that added much later than the song. The video is from a commercial of an online game. The band consisted of John "Ozzy" Osbourne on vocals, Tony Iommi on lead guitar, Terry "Geezer" Butler on bass guitar, and Bill Ward on drums. The drum I believe you're talking about is either a high tom or a snare drum. If you know what was happening in 1970, the U.S. was involved in the Vietnam War. In America and in many other countries, demonstrations against the war was very prevalent. The band went through a few name changes starting with Polka Tulk Blues Band. After shortening the name to Polka Tulk, they then changed their name to Earth. After finding out that another band in England was also called Earth, they decided to name themselves after the 1963 horror film Black Sabbath starring Boris Karloff. Terry had noticed a long line had formed at a theater showing the movie and astonished how people can go watch a scary movie. It also influenced their lyrics also. That was a little music world history lesson for you two.:)
Have a blessed evening.
Awesome reaction to a great song, You look beautiful in Red 😍
BTW I love your reactions and you are cute. 😉 Lots of love from the states..
The kings of heavy metal.
Girls.. The video is not official but fan made but it depicts the war like attitude from government and the emotional havoc it creates for society, individuals, families, love ones who leave for war and loves ones who wait for their soldiers return or not.. WW2 was form 1939 to 1945 Members of Black Sabbath( born 1948-49) are from Birmingham England a city known for its blue collar workers smoke stack industrial steel and manufacturing.. The parents/family of the members witnessed WW2 and the destruction it imposed on England(possibly family members were killed in WW2) .. This message of war was most likely echoed to them as children on what the horrors of war are like that just occurred few years before they were born.. That siren you hear in the beginning of the song( is a real siren sound) was used to sound off to warn the local town/villagers that war attack was emanant, a scary sound to hear during that time with most wondering where to go and hide... A very pivotal song
They're from Birmingham, but otherwise all of what you said :-)
@@Grington300 Yes your correct I and knew that but I had Manchester on my mind for some reason..
@@johnnyzip9847 That can't be good ;-)
@@Grington300 I've met Ozzy a few times and saw Black Sabbath with both Ozzy & Ronny James Dio and Ozzy with Randy Rhoads over a 40 year span.. shame on me... :)
Metallica - So What (very emotional song)
Gets me every time 😭
Misfits - Last Caress; (very romantic)
Literally in tears right now thinking about it! I've suggested So What and Last Caress before. This needs to happen
Fuck yeah The Misfits!!! Lets request The misfats Mommy can i go out and grill tonight
Misfits- halloween
Misfits - scream
You should see the live performance of this in Paris 1970
Hi pretty eyes lol.....you both are lovely love the reaction...the newly made video for this song is very Pink Floyd like
I'm sorry, but the reacts to the video, that has nothing to do with the song, ruined the whole reaction video.
You should have shecked up this before making this video.
Beyond that, I love your work and videos. Keep on rocking girls!
Try Supernaut for a bit more lively and uplifting feel. Sabbath are masters of rhythm and pace changes and there are so many great songs in their back catalog. Ozzy sings emotionally so much better than people give him credit for
This was done in 1970 and depics how bad war is and how nasty Politics is as they are never in the forces.
I would loved to have seen there reaction to the Paris 1970 version.
"I like the voice" LOL YEAH! IT's THE FUCKIN BLIZZARD!
They never had a video when this came out in the 60s.some just made this one
it was the 70s
@@mmaarrttyy123 you're right, 1970 to be exact
This song is from 1970. The video was made decades later.
Pretty cool you recognized the snare drum, it creates a cadence to march to and has been used for many years dating back to the 1300's.
The song and the video in 2 words are about sacrifice and being sacrificed.. to me, the symbolism of the lady on the poster that fades to her on the hill with her arms out.. is of jesus on the cross about to be sacrificed on calvary hill..
Ozzy lived in poverty most of his young live growing up in england just after ww2 so they new and saw the horrors of war
Been waiting for you two to do some Sabbath. By far one of the best and first heavy metal bands ever. In my opinionTony and his guitar style is the true creator of heavy metal.
The firing squad blindfolds you and gives you a cigarette according to the movies lol
Now you need to react to the live 1970 Paris version. Their energy performing is incredible to watch.
An excellent cover of this song, is done by Cake. Never thought there could be a proper cover of it, but Cake slams it out of the park.
Saludos desde Guatemala!! Very good songs!
Great song (classic) . worst video ever took you in a jacked up direction. you should have watched live version. Nevertheless great reaction keep the classics coming. 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥☄😀.

Love your videos. Definitely check out the whole Black Sabbath album “Paranoid”
very nice

Please learn a little more about Black Sabbath they invented the heavy metal genre. The lead singer is none other than the Prince of Darkness and the lead guitarist lost two of his fingers in a guillotine. Not forgetting they come from my home town of Birmingham love you both x
You guys really enjoyed rock, but you should try some blues song, my request is to react to Steve Ray vougain( SRV), all the love from Nepal 😘😘😘
This song is a classic and this vid would have made sense in 1972-little late ya think?!?
Buena reacción chicas y saludos desde Argentina
😎🤘🏻
Saludos desde chile! Sus intros son las mejores jajajajaj
Saludos!! Jejeje gracias! :D xD
Walpurgis is the original title of this song. It has nothing to do with war but the lyrics were changed because it was too satanic and Walpurgis became warpigs. The intent of the different lyrics are the same...evil and how it effects us all. Be it fighting a war for the rich or falling into the seduction of evil. Despite all the hate for the fan made video, people shouldn't be so judgmental. Music invokes different emotions in all of us and certainly the creator had a vision with this song which still shows the evil that destroys all of our lives. Good reaction love your videos keel rocking on \m/
Lol, it was always about war. This was the height of Vietnam. But saying the war was satanic in the title was too hot for an era where the CIA and FBI locked dissidents away in insane assylums, or possibly assassinated them in some cases.
The singer is Ozzie
As magnificent and awesome as ever girls
That's Ozzy Osbourne singing, Lady
The movie I think you was tryin to think of was drumline. And the singer is Ozzy Osbourne you should react to crazy train by ozzy and Randy Rhoads
Did you watch the live performance of this from 1970 in Paris ?
