Paul Loehr: Gee , I just finished downloading mainly all the Lennon Sisters. I grew up with the Lawrence Welk Show, in the early 50's. You see, my Father, Mother and all us children would gather around the TV on Saturday evening, and watch the show. My Father would sing along with the popular songs that he remembered when he was a little boy. I had a crush on Janet Lennon, thought that she was the apple in my eye, so to speak. You could say, I was crazy for her and would patiently wait for them to sing. She also was in my age bracket, she born in 1946, and I in 1944.
Now, there is also the Lawrence Welk Show broadcast here in South Texas every Saturday on a PBS Station. I watch this show every Saturday. Wow, what found memories. By the way, I grew up in Pittsburgh, Pa.

I liked your comments about the Lennon Sisters and could relate -- although I was not born until 1950. I have actually listened to them more in the last few years than in the rest of my life combined. You mentioned that you had downloaded their music. Do you happen to have a suggestion on what has worked best for you for treasuring such beautiful musical memories?

      Hello Tracy Bergquist:
I am writing in response to your comment. Of the beautiful. Lennon Sisters. Collection.
You aked what worked best for me, and I think you are referring to how to download the videos.
I had downloaded a program called Ytd Video Downloader. It is free for a trial, but for a full version it is rather inexpensive. You can download all on utube. I have downloaded many programs, especially my favorite the Lennon Sisters, just found some beautiful sound tracks of the Lennon Sisters that right now I am downloading.
Looks like from your picture that you were a Marine. I am retired. From the U.S. NAVY.
If any more questions, you can also write my email Address: loehrpaul@yahoo.com
      Happy listening.
      Paul C. LOEHR

I think that skit is hilarious! It doesn't mock them, it's just supposed to be bizarre and funny. And most importantly, it's what led me to discover the Lennon sisters. I'm only 21, and if it weren't for the skit I never would have heard of them, and I'm so glad I did! They're amazing and timeless.

My oldest sister could have been added in with these girls and she would have fit right in. Miss you Colleen 😇🥰‼️ Every time I hear these sisters, it reminds me of when my two oldest sisters sang “Mansion Over the Hilltop” together at St. Bonaventure College in western N.Y. when they were age 12 and 13.

pefect song plus a perfect quartet, then add the gifted arrangement and gifted costuming, lighting and camera direction, and the sum is art that brings one into feelings as near heaven as is possible to achieve, in our lowly abode down here.

My wife and I saw the the Lennon Sisters in Branson, MO. The Welk group were kind enough to sign autographs after the show. I had nothing to sign but asked Kathy "how do you get to kiss a Lennon Sister" and she turned her cheek and I kissed it. WOW!!!
