Man, I'll be honest it's kinda moving to see you getting better. It's been so awesome to see you grow with us. Was a edgy teenager watching you back in the facebeef days, bullying the Janoskians, to now the genuinely funny stand up comedian that is 100% gonna make it.
Was a cruel joke that the guy that went from jeans to jacket money off working harder than everyone else got this reality check.

I just want to say thank you, it is because of you that I went to a doctor about my excessive daytime sleepiness. Straight away a sleep specialist basically determined I have sleep apnoea, and now I have to do a sleep study to determine just how bad. If I didn't see your videos, I would have probably continued to listen to the doctors telling me that I was fine and healthy. Glad to hear you're feeling better!
That’s great to hear! Once you have your results, if they’re no good, ask to be referred to a nose and throat specialist to have a look at your airway!
If you get a bad result on the sleep study, buy or rent a CPAP machine, I WISH I rented mine earlier, it makes an unbelievable difference and a good solution permanently for some or in the meantime while waiting for other treatment/surgery

In all seriousness, I'm really happy for you man, as someone who has insomnia in regards to falling asleep? Anything that has to do with getting your right amount of rest is miserable to deal with. Looking good dude and glad you're living a higher quality of life now; you and the family you've made yourself deserve have you feeling you're best and you getting to spend time with them while feeling your best. Much love and come back to content once you've gotten to enjoy for a bit and spend energized time with whoever you want to. We're not going anywhere as your audience as long as you remain true to who you've always been and presented yourself as. Honestly Lewis, you look radiant now - like you said at the end, just the effects that actually getting sleep has on you is so clear!
I had the same surgery on my bottom jaw 2 years ago and I ended up looking like a yellow bowling ball, it’s bloody terrifying to go through that surgery so you deserve to feel so proud of yourself for doing so!

Very happy to see you recovered. Been a fan since 2012 when I was 14 years old, it's been crazy seeing your channel grow to where it's at from where you started. You deserve to get some rest for the work you put in, glad you're finally getting it. Here's to eating solid food sooner rather than later.

I had double jaw surgery about 11/12 years ago for similar reasons and it was 4 years before i could bite into an apple without pain. i was on soft foods for about 9 months. i had swelling and pain for months. worth every single second, i basically had an entire new face and was able to sleep properly. i was 15 when they diagnosed me and 17 when i had surgery. i still have no feeling in my chin 12 years later lmao. glad to see you're back and doing well! enjoy the dreams! its hard to explain to someone who has never struggled how weird it is to see things while you're asleep isn't it?!

Man genuinely got a bit teary-eyed near the end. I had a sleep test done a few months ago and have been on CPAP since June and it has genuinely changed my life. My wife says it's a night and day difference to how I used to be. I'm so happy for you bro, and you definitely got that gigachad jawline now. Much love from Brisbane.

Oh man I got kinda emotional during this video. After watching you for like the past 5 years or so it just makes me happy seeing you happy. Been following you for a number of years. I commented on your last vid; I know you saw it. Just wanted to reiterate, coming from someone with life-long inoperable chronic pain and medical issues, how immensely happy I am for you to be able to start this new chapter of your life. You honestly do look more invigorated and full of life, as much of a cliché that may be. We all look forward to more of your content as you look forward to being able to get back into what you love doing and the many nights of sleep and rest ahead of you.
I know its been a long haul. You deserve everything good that has and will come from this.

I’ve been out of work since April due to chronic illness so I get how everything was just nuts for you. I was in and out of hospital and I’m still not fully out of the woods just yet. I’m glad you’re doing better and getting back into what you do best. Making people laugh.

Hey Lewis, this video is really inspiring to me, as I am going through the exact same problems with OSA. Started when I was about 16 with the headaches and tiredness (am now 25). I saw countless doctors about the headaches until I got a sleep study a year ago. I had my first surgery a few months ago and despite the brutal recovery, I am already starting to feel a little better. Although it is a long road ahead for me, you've given me hope that one day I might be able to live a normal life.

Mate, the fact that you were able to do as much as you did before the surgery, really speaks highly of your work ethic. I've been struggling with sleep apnea and fatigue for over a decade as well, and that whole time I haven't worked or done anything worthwhile. I got close to ending it all many times. I finally received surgery earlier this year and I'm feeling so much better, but still not 100%, and I'm still finding it so hard to reintegrate myself into society.
It’s a huge adjustment coming back into the world, especially as every day you notice how easy things have become compared to how they were.
You will be okay buddy and what I learned is all those achievements don’t mean anything without health.
Take it slow, like I am and you will be good
I've been recovering from depression and chronic pain over the last 10 years as well. Had an allergy or something where sleep wasn't restorative.
I'm getting better all the time but still can't see more than one friend a month and I feel ya, it's been weird.
I wonder if its like what soldiers get coming back from war. Nobody understands the depths of my struggles just to be sitting there on the couch. All talking about how I should try this job or that, or push through the pain, or watch this documentary. Feels shallow, alien. Very weird. (especially since pushing through the pain is in part how I got here)
