How To Make Fire Cider

  • This is how I make our fire cider. We take a shot (about 1 Table spoon) of this every morning. This is said to help fight against getting a cold or flu. We really think that this does help and it is a fiery shot that seems to get you going in the mornings. After it has soaked for about a month then add some raw unfiltered honey to taste. The honey really tames the heat and bitterness.! Have fun making this. Its is really festive looking around the holidays. #firecider

    Oh that looks great for whatever ails you. Almost like aromatic cocktail bitters with some heat.

      Thanks for your comment. I ferment lemons so I have them available and they will last for a year in the fridge. They are a little salty so we use them for savory foods. I use a 3% salt brine that I pour over the whole lemons in a jar and let them set out at room temperature for two to three days then keep them in the fridge. Thanks for asking.
