      Well in their defense. They can pull you over for improper signally and we still don't know what really happened. They need to start a investigation. We cant point from fingers yet. TYT are bias and make drama when we still need evidence. The video is not enough.

      Daz A signalling violation does NOT warrant arrest, or jail, or death. Should be a simple matter of writing a ticket or giving a warning.

    • @A86
      @A86 9 лет назад +16

      @Daz - Most black motorists could also tell you stories of times they were pulled over for no real reason. The times they aren't they just lucked out and no cops were on the road in the areas they drove, or cops couldn't see the skin color of the driver. Or they lucked out and passed by non-racist cops.

    • @austinsmith2589

      CNVideos Don't be dumb we all know that blacks install machine guns in their headlights on cars which are activated by using the turn signal.

      Daz Did you just pull that out off your ass? Because almost every black person in my family has been pulled over for DWB in LA at some point in there lives. and do not try to give me that criminal bullshit, my entire family lives in beautiful neighborhoods with no crime we all have good jobs and nice cars in LA just like TYT. The cops have a number of tickets THEY HAVE TO write out, they issue them to blacks because black people typically have no legal protection so they can get away with it.

This is fabricated bull crap, No way there was anything to tie a noose on or any material in a cell to hang one self from. light fixtures are flush mounted sinks have press buttons so there are not even handles to hook onto. Most beds are metal sheets with holes in them about a silver dollar in diameter.

Compare them to TPD (who a lot act like straight up thugs and have a bad reputation lately) and I'm pretty lucky where I live I don't fall under TPD. I think cause in hillsborough they're trained more thoroughly and extensively.

      MissTa76 lol I visit the United States every year... to GO HUNTING!!!! the place is crawling with good ol boys, armed to the teeth. it's hilarious, because I'm a Canadian. lots of Canadians ( liberals ) are scared shitless of guns. In the US west they think you're completely fucked in the head if you don't go hunting every year. This sounds crazy, but when you're a hunter, and you have all your documents and equipment in order, the border agents and cops treat you with respect. It's wonderful. Are you from the UK?

    • @lesterdiamond6190

      MissTa76 you should come to Canada for a visit. you wouldn't have to concern yourself with any of that stuff, and you could have a great time. There are a lot of good reasons why Canada is often listed among the countries with the highest quality of life indices. As a matter of fact I just got in the door from an awesome evening of fly fishing. The coast of British Columbia would blow your mind. Check out Gwaii Haanas National Park Website. "Allegedly assaulting an officer" ......"what appears to have been self asphyxiation" ....she might as well have been arrested for nothing. Allegedly assaulting an officer means there's no evidence that she did and police probably assaulted her then left her in a cell and ignored her because she dared to question their illusion of authority.

    • @eriknydam1843
      @eriknydam1843 9 лет назад +3

      I think she had some dirt on some of the cops who couldn't resist roughing her up or treating her like crap and she was going to get out and make sure that they paid for it so they took care of her.

    • @GhostInTheShell29
      @GhostInTheShell29 9 лет назад

      eli76ful Please don't get the wrong idea I'm not trying to defend the cops in any way shape or fashion as they are 100% to blame for the entire situation.
      But I don't think its wise to assume she was suicided until we know more. Its possible she gave up hope as if the charges against her weren't dropped she very well could've been facing years in prison.
      She is very intelligent, but remember she was very high in that cell by herself. The prospect of losing her job, her family and extreme paranoia could've led to suicide. I wouldn't be surprised if the cops were threatening her and tormenting her as well.
      Whether it was suicide, or suicided. I do hope the cops are found liable for her death and face criminal charges.

    • @sexysaturn888
      @sexysaturn888 9 лет назад

      GhostInTheShell29 You do realise that saying there was drugs in her system is a smear campaign (yes ??).
      She would clearly have won a wrongful arrest case (unless the judge was corrupt), every single moment of the 3 days needs to be accounted for and hopefully nothing but truth comes out.
      I think unless murder is proved (a smoking gun sort of evidence) i don't think anybody will be charged criminally for her death, but most likely just the lesser charge of wrongful arrest. But yes correct they are 100% to blame.

    • @GhostInTheShell29
      @GhostInTheShell29 9 лет назад +3

      sexysaturn888 According to the autopsy she had Marijuana in her system that must've been taken during the 3 days in jail. Whether she bought it from a cop and took it voluntarily, or whether it was given to her without her knowledge by a cop is still unknown.
      Since the drug source was a cop either way, I'd really like to see criminal charges pressed.

    This hits home for me and i will explain. I drive a bmw convertible 6 series and i also have a convertible 3 series. I've never been pulled over for driving either car in the 4 years I've owned the 6 or in the 6 years I've the 3 series!
    My black son in law has been pulled over 5x for driving the 6 series and 2x for driving the 3 series and not once was he issued a ticket, not once was it for speeding, plate or tag violations, not once for equipment violations etc
    All but once, the vehicles were searched and their primary reason for the stop.......a clear license plate cover! Again.....I've not been stopped ONCE in my cars!
    This is one white man who holds little to NO respect for cops and less respect for a system that turns a blind eye.

    • @derekryder1623
      @derekryder1623 9 лет назад +2

      Jamie Cox If he wasn't issued a ticket, what is the issue? Being pulled over is not the end of the world. And if you weren't stopped, what does that prove? I'm white and I get stopped sometimes.

    • @jamiecox2256
      @jamiecox2256 9 лет назад +13

      Derek Ryder it proves that he was pulled over because he was black!! If it was once or twice......then i could overlook it.
      But 7 times in the same cars I've "never" been pulled over in? Whether he was issued a ticket or not is irrelevant and this just proves what blacks have been saying for years. I got stopped for no reason!
      The last time i checked.....you technically have to break a law or some kind of violation or be in a possible stolen vehicle etc. In all 7x no laws were broken, the car was legal and not reported stolen.
      So this is unconstitutional and unlawful........so it's a big freaking deal to me! Or are cops the only people whom can break the law in your opinion and not be held responsible?

    • @jamiecox2256

      I used to be liberal I`m sorry Yes I still think it is bizarre, it may be the explanation but I do not expect anyone suffering from what she was dealing with to kill themselves after a weekend in jail. Her friends and family who know her are very surprised and this is a good place to start for me. This needs to be looked at very closely, but that should probably always be the case for anyone who dies in state care.

    People need to get smart on this case. The sheriff told the news caster Phil Rogers that Sandra Bland was seen on a jail camera receiving her breakfast at 7am & was found dead at 9am. So we need to see the videotape of who entered her cell between 7am & 9am because if the officers were in her cell between these 2 time period then they definitely killed her. If they can't provide a video they are covering up this & that's going to really give it away that she was murdered. Because if there is video of them bringing her breakfast in her cell at 7am, there is a video of those that were entering her cell before she was found dead.
    If she was sentenced to life in prison most of us would believe she committed suicide.... but to kill herself over getting arrested for something that would only have her in jail for a few days......??? I guess they expect us to believe she was thinking, ... "I graduated from college, just moved to start a brand new life & about to start my brand dream job! But I'm going to kill myself instead when I'll only be in jail for a few days." .... ? No.
    It doesn't make sense for her to commit suicide. If she felt like she had a crappy life & no reason to live she would have committed suicide before she got arrested & went to jail. She would have been trying to commit suicide instead of being on her way to her 1st day on her new dream job if she felt like she had no reason to live.
    SHE WAS MURDERED FOR SURE.
    + she hung herself with a plastic bag? Where the hell did she even get that from? That's not something that they would let inmates keep in their cells.

  • @whitneydavis124
    @whitneydavis124 9 лет назад +15

    To those who claim "Not all cops are bad" or "Not all cops are racist", that's cool. Whatever. The important concept people need to take away from this is that there is a group of individuals in each city with the sole authority to use violence on its own citizens usually without consequence. If there is consequence, the settlements come from the taxpayers that they not only steal from but also use violence against. There is no risk or punishment for the police officers or the department when this happens (settlements need to be paid by the officers who committed the crime).
    Not only that, but police departments are a relatively new idea (late 1800s) and law enforcement is even newer (within the latter part of last century). There should be no crime without a victim, thus no need for active law enforcement. Now with funding, weapons, and training from DoD and for some cities from IDF, police officers have become a standing army which is unconstitutional.
    So it DOESN'T MATTER if they're not all "bad" or not all "racist". The very existence of these departments are not only unnecessary, they're immoral, unconstitutional, and fiscally irresponsible. Anyone who doesn't understand this and still defends police officers needs to study history, economics (preferably Austrian), arbitration, and effective security.

    1) She wasn't jailed for "improper signaling" (as the video title says). She was jailed for assault on a cop.
    2) Anybody who assaults a cop over a turn signal issue has some....emotional problems.
    3) Anyone with emotional problems has the potential to do something highly unexpected, like commit suicide.
    Getting thrown in jail could (I imagine) be a REAL bad day -- especially if you're a "regular person," as this woman probably was; going there for something as silly as a turn signal could make it especially bad. A regular person who also had some mental issues could easily become suicidal under those sort of crazy circumstances....

    • @kevindaniel8119

    • @GetMeThere1
      @GetMeThere1 9 лет назад

      Kevin Daniel Right. The arrest video isn't pretty. Still, my argument regards the suicide. I still do believe she committed suicide -- and the arrest tape only supports that, IMO. How would it feel to be treated like she was, and then thrown in jail for three days? Many otherwise stable people could end up in a mental state which could foster suicidal thoughts.
      IMO the police crimes occurred during the arrest, not during the incarceration.

    • @uuu09
      @uuu09 9 лет назад +2

      GetMeThere1 why would she commit suicide before getting out of jail?

    • @GetMeThere1
      @GetMeThere1 9 лет назад

      uuu09 Of course there's no rational reason. She would have committed suicide because (I'll presume) she was somewhat unstable psychologically to begin with, and she was overwhelmed and "broken" by how she was treated, and how she had to spend three days in jail for only trying to get out of police car's way in a cooperative manner.
      I can identify with her: I find it EXTREMELY upsetting to be mistreated by those in authority. I personally wouldn't commit suicide in such a situation, but I can easily understand how someone with, let's say, "a narrower perspective" than mine, might.

    • @uuu09
      @uuu09 9 лет назад +2

      GetMeThere1 i could see that if it was like the first day or she had already been sentenced...but she was about to get out in a few hours. suicide is usually done by pepole who feel there is no hope or no reason to live. does that sound right to you? She didn't hang herself. She had a broken shoulder because of the cops, so she couldn't have reached high enough for her to hang herself. And what would she hang herself with? People are saying it was a plastic bag, but that wouldn't support her weight, and how would she have a plastic bag? They don't give things that could be a danger to inmates to prisoners. Also, she couldn't have hung herself in jail because she way already dead in her mugshot, which they took before they put her in the actual cell. Her shoulders, hair, and fat on her face were pushed back, which shows she was lying down, and half of her face was collapsed, which happens when you have a lack of oxygen to your brain. Therefore she was already dead in her mugshot, therefore she didn't hang herself in jail, therefore she didn't hang herself. The Texas police killed her, and all the evidence is there. God, I hate this country.

But he did not have to question her "Do you have drugs". She said no. He radioed for K-9. The North Haven police had the dog get into the car. Nothing was found. When someone says "I'm looking forward to see how you justify this in court" I highly doubt they would kill themselves.This strong,innocent woman was murdered and may she rest in piece.

    I once was pulled over for "not signaling" while changing lanes. The cop told me I didn't signal and he wanted to make sure I wasn't drinking. It was in the afternoon and I just got off of work. He just ran my license and registration and let me go. It was a clear case of profiling. This story is just insane!

    Why was she outside of her car? I've never been removed from my vehicle for a driving infraction..and I've done worse that "improper signaling."

      I'm actually wishing that someday we are all treated fairly, and we will need to work together to achieve that (and defend what's happening to our country by abusive powers that have little interest in happiness outside of dollars). If you've seen my vids, you know I'm no fan of Jade Helm, or police brutality. Sandra was mistreated, and I hope her family can seek and find justice.

    No, jailed for assaulting a cop. Nice try though

      Jim Bob There were witnesses standing there, one recording with his phone. Then Sandra Bland thanked him for recording. Question, if what you say is true then why would she thank him for evidence that could be used against her in a court of law? You and your kind are void of human logic, empathy and compassion not to mention, are psychopaths as well as sociopaths, a true subhuman species.

      But the whole reason they pulled her over was for the turn signal, and that's just insane that it escalated to this. You know they wouldn't have pulled over a white driver.

    In my health class, officers visited regularly, usually to talk about the myriad of offenses they can arrest you for. But how to behave while being arrested was never brought up.
    I think we need to teach students to how to interact with the police. Remind them that America's police officers are often poorly-trained, and that police departments are often riddled with racists, psychopaths, and lunatics, whom you can not legally defend yourself against IN ANY WAY unless you have a reasonable fear for your life (and even then, you'll probably get killed anyway). Bring in the best experts on conflict resolution (aka not cops).
    Now, you may be thinking "Don't teach civilians not to be brutalized. Teach cops not to assault." As I would say to anyone making a similar argument, it is possible to encourage self-protection without victim-blaming. Especially if you frame the discussion in the context of a broken police force, rather than "a couple of bad apples". That way, you can also put pressure on the departments in question.

    Improper signaling? In Sweden, the police isn't even bothered to give you a ticket for it, let alone jail time. I don't understand what's happening in the US... So sad.

    I love following The Turks! They are very passionate and honest and it's great that this perspective comes from non-Black people so people can't say...oh, it's Black people are just taking up for their own. We will not rest until Sandra Bland's death has real answers. We will not stop until Black people have their reparations. We will not stop until there is JUSTICE for Black people. We will not stop until Black people are treated as human beings. We.Will.Not.Stop!

    I remember about 45 years ago, the small-time crime boss in my hometown was arrested and taken to jail. He wound up with five gunshot wounds to the back of his head. The police consensus was suicide. Probably the same coroner doing the autopsy.

    I have been saying this for awhile: When you get pulled over, turn your car off, don't talk on your cell phone, or do other things while the officer is talking to you. If you wish to record, fine. Give him or her your ID, if they give you a ticket, take the ticket and pay the fine or setup a court date. Now don't that sound better then sitting there arguing with the officer and possibly getting shot, tazered or beat down or jailed over a traffic stop. It's time to use a little common sense because your life is worth more then a traffic stop.

    i saw the whole video, the cop was giving her a ticket and after that he asked her to put out her cigarette and she resisted because he had no right and he got angry and tried to pull her out of the car and she said she did not have to get out of the car because he had no right to pull her out but he pointed the gun at her and she kept telling him he had no right to do that and she asked him why he had to pull her out of the car, he never replied and just kept saying "get out of the car" while pointing the gun and he handcuffed her. i was so angry when i watched the video.

    This is what it's like for a routine traffic ticket for African Americans. Every time I get pulled over for a seat belt ticket, I get pulled out the car, searched and harassed.

    I heard that she did not signal while he pulled her over. In other words she is driving down the road, he tries to pull her over and that's when she didn't use her signals to pull over. The whole thing is screwed up. If a cop pulls me over, I don't put on my signals to pull over for him, does anyone?

    The title of this video is deceptive. She was not jailed for a turn signal violation.
    Whether she actually did what she was accused of may be debatable. But she was jailed for assault.
