I volunteer for this RR, although a fledgling in the organization. I've had a few interesting experiences that would have been hard to come by today. If you enjoyed the ride then I would highly recommend to volunteer. The great support over the years from many dedicated volunteers has built up the RR to what it is today. I actually enjoy the opportunity since it way better than watching the videos. If one where to start volunteering, the RR can make a position for you that you can work & enjoy.
Since this video, the railroad has found itself 5 new locomotives, 3 of which run trains frequently. But I think the most amazing progress since this video was made was when the Gramlings started bringing their trains every year.
