Here we are a couple generations of consoles later and I continue to believe this is the most realistically looking game I've seen. Character models are top notch, texture detailing is unique, ambient animation and lighting were second to none. I've always felt they made this game NOT to look cartoonish. Add to that the the fun online modes!
@@kjjacobs9487 I think part of it are the weapons themselves. MW sound design is excellent, but because the weapons have silencers and are more modern by default, their sound is toned down. Here though, it feels like every part of the weapon is made of solid metal. They clap loud, they reverberate loud, they feel like they could punch a hole through you. Can you tell I love these gun sounds? Lol
Killzone 2 and Killzone 3 multiplayer was awesome and addicting. Would love to play this game again. Kind of wish they remaster Killzone 2 or 3 on PlayStation 5 but then again these visual still look amazing for a PS3

I loved this game and I was and still am a die hard xbox fan but their was somthing fun about tis game,I allways buy a PlayStation for their exclusives and to me this was PlayStations halo.
My mum wouldnt buy me black ops 1 back in the day but she got me this for some reason so my first FPS multiplayer experience was Killzone multiplayer and I grinded the shit out of it. Good times, I wish it was out on pc or that I could myself to play with controllers again.

Yep pled it was so gritty and felt weighty. Felt like actual gnarly ass combat when I played it, not some super fast pace adhd shooter.

To this day I haven't seen a First Person Shooter with better gun sounds. The gun sounds in this game are PHENOMENAL.
