Forreal tho the full auto mode is actually sick, I haven't had to actually play the game and am already at 18k points in the Zara event and 6/15 prints. Yuge.

Best recommendations for Azur Lane here we come
If you are willing to spend the time, you can use lv 1 ships which will only cost 3 oil in total per battle now, then equip gear and just grind 2-1 until their mood feel and stop giving the exp bonus. Now you can dismantle them and use the new lv 1 ships to farm. This gives you better oil to coin ratio(bit more then 1:6 I believe) and you can chose ships that in the correct factions to earn exp for the research ships. The only done side is that you have to switch gear from time to time

The only problem with this is that, unless you're just farming for commisions, it takes forever to actually get something out of it, It's oil efficient, but not time efficient.
You can actually farm with lv1 DD and CV(no need equipments on CV) dropped from 2-1 then sell them before morale hits 50. Also 1 fleet can do all the works if you have Shinano on fleet 2.
It takes at least 5hrs to get all the juicy commissions, so the oil cost might make a huge difference in a long run.
Btw I think 2-2 is even better for commission farming.

since we need to finish the campaign to make the commision appear
finish asap is the key here and why u should choose 2-1
cuz the requirement battle to make boss appear in 2-1 is 2 while 2-2 is 3 (according to wiki)
also comparing to fleet movable tile in 2-1 and 2-2 (if u r doing full auto)
2-1 has 17 tile while 2-2 has 24
since more tile to travel = more time to spend
2-1 is still a better choice than 2-2
While this has been nerfed, it is still a good place to farm commissions. You can speed it up by having a stand-by fleet with cross-fleet barrages.
Fleet 1: 1xCommon CV, 1xCommon DD
Fleet 2 (always on stand by): Any combination of New Jersey, Ulrich von Hutten, Shinano, Kronshtadt, Shimakaze, Perseus, Maco Polo or Fusou META.
I also farm A1 event stages with those two fleet.
But ig it's only worth it when you have very little oil (less than 2k ig?). Otherwise just farm 11-1, 12-4, 13-4 or the good event stages.

Quick question, how would a beginner apply this method. I just started playing a week ago and I don't have any high rarity equipment to use for a cheap fleet like this. Also I haven't been getting oil commissions despite doing campaign battles...am I getting unlucky or am I doing something wrong?

I wouldn't bother with 2-1 as a beginner because you need to progress your account. Go farm actual maps and level up ships and get gear.
Does 2-1 still work for gem commissions? I've been running it for a few hrs and haven't gotten anything
Hey Kimo, since you've been running this, I need to know is the only thing that stops the auto farming your girls getting a red face? Or does it stop whenever you get a purple ship too? (I assume full dock, max gold, and out of oil stop you as well, how much dock space are you filling in say 3 hours?)
Full docks and red morale are the biggest factors farming 2-1. That's why I advise making 3 fleets of 1:1 and use the gems you farm from 2-1 to buy more dock space to give yourself more QoL
I noticed my oil cost was going up on a few of the lower rare ships I was leveling up. I'm not limit breaking them, so what else could add oil? Is it the skill level ups from the academy books, or do ships just add oil cost as they reach a certain level threshold? I tried looking everywhere for the answer.

A bit unrelated but today was the first time I ran out of oil(I'm level 80 but I never farmed a lot), so when the message "buy more oil?" popped up of course I didn't want to... But my sleep deprived brain thought the "confirm" option was actually "cancel". 😂
Too bad, I really needed to get more dock slots but I guess I'll have to save up more gems then.
I should have known this sooner man! This is so legit I got many gems from it. I'm definitely a 2-1 warrior right now.
PS. Just an additional info, common CV/CVL raise their oil consumption starting from lvl 34 from 2 oil to 3 oil. You can replace and retire them after that. Just for Efficiency.

Hi. if I could ask, why does it matter if their mood goes bad? Since they aren't gaining significant experience anyway. Also, do you have any estimate of how many runs it takes until you need to switch out the for another CV+Vanguard in the dorm due to mood? Kinda confused about that part.

Not anymore because 2-1 full auto exists. Otherwise if you're short on time to play I guess, it's worth to take.

Okay I have a few questions:
1. Does this still work? I saw a comment saying it was nerfed but I am struggling to get oil atm and could really use this.
2. Do the DD's have to be zero limit break, I have a pair of the same ones (Dowes at 3 stairs level 32 and Cassin at 3 stars level 36)
3. Are you getting the oil from the commissions? I've never got oil from retiring ships and there isn't a conversion from medals to oil.

3. it is possible to get oil from the commissions, the nerf itself removed the oil one would gain from retiring shipgirls and boosted the amount of coins gained from retirement
hi, I have a question, how many urgent commissions can I have active? Because I have played a number of hours in 2-1 and I don't get more than 8 active commissions, was that nerfed?
No set limit, keep farming. It's pure RNG on procs and the kind you get.

Yes because 0 morale breaks full auto, you don't want to hit 0 morale.

The oil you're slowly losing is compensated by your oil facility passively accumulating oil and the commissions you're doing as you're farming 2-1. You will never lose oil here.

I'd add that ONLY do this if you NEED coins. Your time is better spent on levelling your main fleets and getting gear from other stages.
Having a lot of troubles with leveling up in this game it just bothers me as it reminds me of Pokemon leveling up and wisdom cubes are hard to come across by. ( Yeah still watching the vid and I need help with the leveling)

You buy those with gems, unlock those asap if you plan to grind a lot.
Hello! Is 2-1 still the best place to farm for Oil, Coins, Gems, and Commisions? My friend is experiencing difficulty in obtaining commissions through farming 2-1

After the Pizza event is over, I will try to level up 2 common Sakura DD''s to 120 in 2-1.
Want to see how long it takes me, normal using nevada at 70 + a random vanguard ship take me a 7-9 days to bring to 120.
So will be fun to try this out, normal 7-2 farming drains my oil even if I'm using a super cheap fleet. So will be fun playing around in a lower mapp never though about it.
So can try auto out really damn hard here and see how much profit I can make out of it.
I'm not a fan of using ships that gains no exp, so levling up some common DD's can be a good idé.
If that's the case use them at 7-2 then because the purpose of 2-1 is to use little to no oil cost fleets otherwise you're better off going to 7-2, but you can't full auto 7-2.

Leveling is just picking a map to farm, you can do whatever you want to level at lv 1 at 2-1 if you want. But if you want to go beyond lv 70 then choose a different map.

Your morale burns extremely fast because you're not alternating between 2 fleets to maximize second dorm restoration. If you plan to farm for many hours then it's not worth doing.

I've done 6 gem uc and have not received 1 gem.
It's about a 20% chance give or take.

It will stop your full auto, so I advise dorming up to 3 fleets of 1:1 so it doesn't become a hassle for you because your morale will drop extremely fast even with the second floor dormitory.

Cant't bring myself to keep a copy of a ship that is not used for enhancing. Is this tactic still good with a fully broken common destroyer and rare aircraft carrier?
If it costs more than 4 oil per sortie then no.

Im thinking of recommending what ships would be applicable for boss fleet and mob fleet

No, I mean in general like out of all ships what would be the best for boss and mob fleets for all kinds of stages and events
I would recommend use lvl 1 backline, use and abuse them until there mood is low then you sell them for another 300 coins and some extra oil each dependant on their lvl. Also you don't need to equip any gear on them, just put a good gun and an AA gun on your vngd and they will never die at least not in my experience.
This is correct, but I'm lazy and forget sometimes so I just keep them at lv 70. The 2-3 extra oil per run is negligible.
I use the lvl 35 trick for backline as well. i just swap them when they get to lvl35 , collect 10 of them and sell them for 3000 and 400 oil (but that is for BBs only). CVLs sell for much less .
The algorithm is : Gold=3+⌊Levelship×Rgold⌋ Oil: =3+⌊Levelship×Roil⌋
Battleship 8.5 1.0
Battlecruiser 7.0 0.8
Light Carrier 4.0 0.5
Aircraft Carrier 6.5 0.8
however CVLs only cost 2 oil/battle while BBs are 4. So pretty much CVL for 2-1 and BB for 7-2.

If u have already fully cleared it you can just start the map and come back every few mins to hit the continue button .. If you are on PC there is a simple macro you can set up for this via blue stacks

I wonder if I should put 3 4-oil fleets in the 2nd floor or even a 4th fleet in the 1st floor. Should that be enough to make sure one of those 3 or 4 fleets will have always have good enough morale?
2 4 oil fleets can let me grind nonstop for about 6~7 hours. Add more if you plan to farm more.

I'm confused as to why you would run 2 fleets at all for oil efficiency when you can just run the 1?
Because you slow down the morale burn if you run 2 fleets. You can't sustain farming 2-1 with just 1 fleet for more than 2-3 hours tops. Even if you alternate fleets after one is at 0. It's going to get to the point where both fleets are low morale overall.
