Already subscribed! - and watch your videos all the time. And I actually have the nursing school bundle book. If I win, I would give it to my friend who just started her 1st semester of nursing school since I’d be getting a new one 😆

Why does Registered Nurse RN say to hold breath for 6 seconds? Whom is correct?

Thank you for your question! For incentive spirometry to be effective, the patient should hold their breath for at least 3 seconds. Respiratory therapists and other HCPs will instruct on the exact times for each individual patient based on their overall respiratory and health status.

Came here to subscribe for giveaways to find out I subscribed a year ago when I started nursing school 🤣. Graduating this year but give away would still be helpful 🤣😅 and I want to be ICU nurse. Thank you for all your videos
