Ya same in my relative case also. Spoiled life because of girl family, they do not want her to stand individually, depend on her parents for everything.
Couselling is not done in correct way. They called the couple in same time the couple starts fighting in front of councellor. But problem does not solved.
For these kind of girls pampered by parents, if their life partners are always pondaati daasan, then their lives go on somehow. Otherwise problems arise at a huge level due to self respect, ego,.... The couple in this episode should have started their life in another place, without any disturbance from both sides. This might have paved a better way for mutual understanding.
I know a woman, who strongly says that, her parents are her first priority, frequently visits her parents, sometimes with her child, sometimes alone, EVEN AFTER 20 YEARS OF MARRIAGE. For the society, she & her husband give a picture of an ideal couple ( because her husband never says / goes / does anything against her personally & professionally ).
In another instance, the wife's parents started staying with their daughter & son in law, indirectly not allowing the boy's parents for a long visit or stay. Also, the parents & that girl started interfering in her brother's life, causing major disturbances. Finally the couple went abroad, after the death of boy's parents.
It's very painful to listen to separation of couples due to unnecessary disturbances & interferences caused by their own relatives. Mutual adjustments & better understanding always needed in any kind of marriage.

Madam didn’t handle the case properly, she should not havs taken the case but sent both to marriage counsellor.
The grounds for taking this case is flimsy, girl’s side and guys side didn’t have knowledge/were immature. I have seen many parents actively help their daughter and son prioritise each other and win over each other’s ego and create holistic environment .
Agreed the boy is also having flaw and controlling, but given that both initially wanted to live together they should have been sent to a proper marriage counsellor.
Parents also should be proactive in identifying triggers and sorting them out by inculcating or nudging behavioural changes in both.
