Thanks, great explanation. Gives more clarification Question: how about for example, a paint job for 5 days of work. Then, a painter has rate of 1d. I need to deploy 5 painters to just finish the job for 1d. How to show it on ms project, having 5 painter working on certain activity?
Thank you for your comment and your question. You can create a resource called painters. This resource will have in the unit max a value of 500%, which shows a capacity of 5 painters. Have a great day.
Hi, I'm not sure I got it. where do the 25% come from did you set these in the resource assignment? I would expect to just enter the duration and after that enter the amount of hours and the units would appear automatically. I also find it complicated when at some point I decide to add another engineer to a task I should not need to create another make-up resource that is made of two people.
