This is very very useful as I just concluded an interview on zoom today, although I just came across this now. I was asked if I have any question for them! Instead of saying No I told them more about my skills and showed willingness to work and try out new job description. I hope I will be called for the second phase then I will pick one or two from there questions. Thank you so much 💓

You are welcome! At least you didn't just say no 😊 You can also send the recruiter an email with a quick note saying you just thought of something to ask and then ask 🙂

Hi Nicole! Thank so much for the insights. It means a lot from a recruiter's perspective. I had an interview a couple of months back, (before watching this video) and I can safely say I asked the right questions - at least I believe I did. Particularly I asked about:
    1. The culture in the department
    2. What success looks like for the position I was being interviewed for
    3. To one of the operations guys: what he likes about working in the department...
Thing is, I never heard back from the company. They completely ghosted me. What could have gone wrong? It was an online interview.

Those are defn good questions to ask, it might have just been that there were better candidates. Did you follow up after the interview, send a thank you note etc? Sometimes the company also uses that to evaluate how interested you might be in the role.

@@nicolenyasha No, I did not follow up. I guess I was just disheartened and also got another role elsewhere a few weeks after the interview. But the key takeaways from your response is that:
      1. Following up may make me look really interested in the role and company
      2. To send some sort of thank you note for the interview
I did not know this...so Thank you!
