Oh how I loved Luther Vandross 😢. From the first time I heard Never Too Much on WDAS I bought every album and went to every concert I could. Miss him sooo much. Patty, remember the good old days of shows at the Valley Forge Music Fair with the rotating stage. I saw Luther there several times, it was so up close and personal. The outfits, the gowns ,the stage presence , the choreography, Luther put on a complete show. ❤ I pray they do him justice with this documentary, this generation needs to know the greatness of Luther! Yes Valley Forge. Will Downing opened for him. It was the best concert ever. Luther's music is timeless. He was a rare and unique artist with his own style which will never be duplicated. Much like Marvin Gaye and Michael Jackson. People can sing their songs all they want to, but these singers were one of a kind. Luther is truly missed.

I never forget being in New Haven it had to be 1989 Luther Vandross was performing. I was on a lunch break. I was walking down the street and Luther checked me out and smiled. I smiled back when I got back to work. I realize that was Luther Vandross. He was heavy at that time. in the community, we call it cruising he cruise me I was in my prime 21 years old. A fond memory of my youth.

It came out in 1967 and I was only 5, going on six so I'm not sure exactly when I was introduced to the song but I love it, How and why I learned the words is beyond me! Lol. I never forget being in New Haven it had to be 1989 Luther Vandross was performing. I was on a lunch break. I was walking down the street and Luther checked me out and smiled. I smiled back when I got back to work. I realize that was Luther Vandross. He was heavy at that time. in the community, we call it cruising he cruise me I was in my prime 21 years old. A fond memory of my youth.

So very sorry to hear about Dexter 😢 And Marlina Shaw for sure, Go Away Little Boy has always been my jam!!! It came out in 1967 and I was only 5, going on six so I'm not sure exactly when I was introduced to the song but I love it, How and why I learned the words is beyond me! Lol. She died on my birthday 😢. Luv you Patty! Oh wait, what was making me I'll was Jennifer calling Common, Mr. Common on her show...whyyy?? Looking at his face it didn't look like he cared for her calling that either...smdh!
