Oh man, you're speaking my childhood right here. I received this toy for Christmas of 1995, and just 2 short months later we had the mother of all snowstorms. I distinctively remember playing with my snowspeeder outside with my friend and his AT-ST. Such a fantastic toy and even better unlike the Falcon which couldn't support the "improved" sculpting of the POTF2 figures, the Luke pilot figure was specifically tooled to fit inside the Snowspeeder and the X-Wing.

The Rebel Snowspeeder is one of the greatest looking vehicles EVER.

I had the POTF2 'Speeder and you can bet I crashed it Dagobah-style into some waters (we don't have snow where I live). The electronics survived for quite awhile, surprisingly, but them stickers peeled away fast. Definitely the most fun I had with any of my vehicles as a kid.

Awesome video... love that you're hitting the Star Wars! 😁. I loved this vehicle because it was a fighter... with two seats! Can't say exactly why, but small ships that could fit two figures were always my favorites. Very fun seeing this toy in its natural environment. Beautiful footage!

Thanks! I'm surprised they made it as big as they did. Always imagined the Snowspeeder as a small ship but the toy is huge! I guess everything looks tiny compared to AT-AT's. :D

The Snowspeeder is an awesome vehicle. I really dig that you shot this video in its natural environment. It takes us one step closer to Hoth!

To this day, I remember coming home from school on a day back in 1980. My older sister had surprised me by picking up a Rebel Snowspeeder. At the time, I didn’t even realize it had been released!
Another awesome video Michael. I’m. proud to be a Patreon supporter for you! 😀

One of my favorite Star Wars toy and I was happy when I had a chance to buy the Power of the Force edition. I couldn’t get the original one when I was younger. But when they re-released this toy, I didn’t want to miss the opportunity, lol. I like the blaster sound effects especially and gives you those Empire Strikes vibes. Thank You for the review and video! Nerdmaste! May the Force be with you as well!

The Snowspeeder was my favorite Star Wars toy growing up in the 80's. Then I got hooked on POTF toys as an adult and was happy for this reissue. Another great video, thank you.

Omg nostalgia, I had one of these, with the spring loaded harpoon and the AT-AT. I made the mistake of bringing the AT-AT pilot to school... Someone stole him and chucked him into a field :(
Awesome video as always! Thanks for bringin back the memories :)

I never noticed until the 2019 LEGO set that Luke‘s Snowspeeder has grey trim!!! I‘ve been into Star Wars for over 25 years now, and I never noticed :D
Cool video, cool retrospective. I never owned one, but I think a friend had the 1995 version, so it is a little familiar.

The Snowspeeder is hands down the best attack/battle flying vehicle from the Star Wars universe.

I own many rebel armored snow speeders spanning from original KENNER release to the updated vintage collection model. All have their selling points but I'm my opinion this version is the most fun. Yes, the harpoon cannon is far too large but the sound board on this model is exceptional and I prefer the size of this vehicle to the smaller modernized version. My original vintage speeders are special but very fragile and the electronics are extremely temperamental. This version is sturdy and holds up well to actual play. Thanks for this review

Regards to the electronic version, I had no battery corrosion yet I am unable to get mine working. I took the shell off & the wires look in place & clean terminals. Any suggestions?

Makes me sad that toys nowadays aren’t made with the same care or attention to detail like back then
