and i fuss when i am in my shop under a roof with a concrete floor on a creaper and pull in a vehicle from outside when its raining and a few drops of water hit me in the face. i remember growing un working for father in auto salvage yard having to pull parts in the rain I DO NOT MISS IT AT ALL great video thanks for sharing
Nice job, Thanks for Sharing! In this situation I find it easier to check for power at the fuse after the relay, so you can just crank it and if you have power at that fuse you know the relay is working. You can also check for ground through the pump at the fuse. You will still have to check at the pump, but it makes the first step faster.
@advancedleveldiagnostics Dang you’re right that would have been so much faster. Can I ask you something while I got you here? If I did that test at the fuse. would I need to worry about load On the control side on the relay? Or would a test light Suffice since it’s just the control? Thanks for commenting I feel like a celebrity just talked to me.
@@3TsMOBILEAUTOMOTIVEREPAIR I would not load test the load side of the relay. I would be afraid it can damage the pcm since the headlight bulb carries 4amps. a regular test light only pulls around 220ma which is a lot closer to a relay.
@advancedleveldiagnostics Ok good that’s what I was thinking. I never like to load anything on the pcm side. But ya never know maybe something I was missing. Same as don’t use a power probe if you don’t know what you’re doing. Thanks for the tips. It helps get things done faster and makes better videos. This is all so new to me making videos and trying to do it so people can understand. Thanks again
@@3TsMOBILEAUTOMOTIVEREPAIR Ye people don't realize its a lot harder than it looks. I get a lot of comments saying I talk to fast and don't explain, it's just in the moment in my head it makes sense🤣
@advancedleveldiagnostics It’s funny you say that cause I’m watching some of your videos right now and I like how quick you talk it’s easier to understand for my head. I think the hardest part for me is I took about eight years off from being a technician everyday in a shop. before I opened my mobile service about three years ago and trying to get my head back into that game has proven to be very difficult as I had gotten older. I forget more then I realized I would takes longer to bring the info back to the front of my thoughts.
never understood why no one makes a noid light that is bright enough to see i have the hardest time if they cant make brighter then maby have a color easy to see

Probably because it isn’t a guarantee test just a helper on direction.
